Great neighborhood restaurant and bar. Steak night is Wednesday. Best hamburger I’ve had in years. Excellent sides. I really liked the sautéed spinach.

A great place, with great people, caring about their locals is something I witnessed a couple weeks ago. They allowed for a fundraiser to be set up for a patron dealing with a bout of cancer. It was a wonderful time and that speaks volumes about this establishment. More places should take note of this place and it’s employees and owners. They give clearly give back what they put in when it comes to work, dedication, and drive.

The thing with this establishment is that there is absolutely no consistency. Zero.
We began to frequent Step Brothers last summer and were initially blown away with the atmosphere. It was and still is very clean and well lit, no smoking, and the food isn’t bad. But I don’t go to a bar to eat, I go there to drink AND enjoy the atmosphere, food, etc. A bar is entirely dependent on having good, quality-consistent drinks that don’t vary from bartender to bartender.
There is a “bartender” there whose name I don’t recall. Blonde female. The past few times we’ve gone she’s been our “bartender” and she alone has ruined this place for us. The last time I got served an Old Fashioned…MADE WITH ORANGE JUICE. What? I couldn’t even drink it. I went to the bathroom and dumped it. This coupled with the fact that we waited over 15 minutes to be served an “Old Fashioned” and a simple pint of Blue Moon spoke volumes to us. We were there about 20 minutes total and she refused payment because she knew how terrible she was. Oh, and we ordered cheese sticks that we never got.
It was a good run, Step Brothers. But we’re done here. What a shame.

It is a bar, lively atmosphere. I got a hamburger, sweet potato fries and a sweet tea. Food was hot and fresh, tea was fresh brewed. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal.

Please use a clean mop head and boiling water to clean the floors. They smell so bad. Lots of TVs for the game and the bar tenders were awesome and friendly.

I found this place by accident. The staff are professional and friendly. It’s a welcoming environment for dinner. The food is awesome and delicious and the service is top notch!
