The inspiration for Stella’s Table comes from our family of Mediterranean immigrants who settled into the Detroit area following WWII and then made their way to the Highland-White Lake community in the early 1950’s. They brought with them a love of great food, drink and storytelling along with a passion of sharing this love with friends, family and neighbors. On many nights and weekends generations of families could be found congregating around a massive kitchen table enjoying classic Italian dishes and drink while exchanging the day’s events with pride, laughter and sometimes tears. Stella’s Table is our take on bringing these timeless traditional values to our current day world.

Our experience overall was lovely and we will be back.
The food we got was good but just average. We were not overally impressed by anything specific. The staff was lovely and very helpful.
Appetizer: Arancini, these were good. I liked the size. I wish there was more seasoning in them overall. For me although the risotto was cooked nicely it lacked flavor.

this was overall disappointing. It was a giant plate of spinach, with a few onions, strips of cheese and pine nuts. The salad was bulky, and all the pine nuts had fallen to the bottom and was hard to eat and enjoy with the salad.
Michelangelo sandwich:
This was very tasty. The bread itself served on is really nice. Great chew. I just wanted more, more fig and more goat cheese. The fries it was served with were really good.
Dessert: Chocolate Hazelnut Tort
This was okay. I enjoyed the whipped cream and hazelnut mousse. My issue was with the cake itself. It did not taste like a sponge cake and was rather dense, more like a brownie
We also ordered an espresso and this was lovely.

I always love sitting at the bar and the vibe of the bar here was great! Servers were all super friendly! I had the filet and it was cooked perfectly! I especially loved the toasted garlic bits in the spinach! I highly recommend!

Our server nick was awesome his interaction with the manager and well as the managers interactions with customers was excellent the door was phenomenal I would definitely recommend trying this restaurant and we will be back soon

We always have great food and service at Stella’s Table! We were there on Sunday with my daughter and son-in-law and their daughter and everyone really enjoyed their food. My husband and I ordered the specials which was a branzino and a white fish. Both were outstanding! We will be back again soon!

This is my second time coming to this amazing Italian restaurant! I took my mom here for a late Mother’s Day gift & then brought my daughter here after a day of shopping!
Each time, we were greeted with friendly smiles. The food is made fresh! You can taste & feel the difference when eating at this Italian restaurant vs any other! By far the best in Michigan.
Their BBQ sauce is made fresh daily! Was the best we had & my kids are BBQ obsessed.
I love the wide range of vegetarian options as well! I actually have a difficult time choosing; which is a good thing.

Good food, better ambience and best service. We were late and got here like 15 mins before restaurant closing, but still we got our food served. One of the best italian food I ever had. We ordered Bruschetta, Mushroom Ravioli, Cajun Chicken and Corn Risotto… and cherry on the top was our dessert – Pistachio Cheesecake !!! Absolutely great food.

Went here on a first date recently and both myself and my date loved it!!! Very chill environment with tons of amazing options…we couldn’t decide what to order so we just asked our waiter’s top favorites and each picked one of those. I had the Tranchetta, he had the Sunday pasta and both were out of this world. We split the tiramisu for dessert and it was some of the best we’ve both ever had. Go here. You won’t be sorry.

We visited Stella’s Table on a Wednesday evening and it had a decent crowd. We didn’t need reservations but made them anyway. The chicken picatta and chicken reggiano were both delicious. They have a half off half liter of wine on Wednesday for Wine Wednesday as well. We also got to take home the remaining wine so we could finish it before bed!
