Amazing food. Standout service. Easy five stars.

Restaurant Week at Stella’s Southern Brasserie was a win from start to finish. Braised short rib egg rolls came out hot and crispy with deep, rich flavor. Crab cakes were packed with real crab and zero filler. Flounder cooked just right with a light crust and balanced sauce. Lemon pound cake finished the meal bright, buttery, and not too sweet.

Service sealed the deal. Deanna took great care of us. She knew the menu, explained dishes clearly, and kept the pace smooth without hovering.

Food impressed. Hospitality felt genuine. We left happy and full.

Five stars without hesitation.

Excellent experience for our 10yr anniversary! Friendly attentive service. Delicious food! The pimento Mac and cheese was phenomenal! So was the deep fried apple pie. Truffle fries, strawberry salad! Everything was so good!

Unique & Delicious Menu – New Bunch Favorite

Stella’s Southern Brasserie has become one of my go to brunch spot, even with their lunch and dinner menus looking just as tempting. The atmosphere nails the French brasserie vibe (relaxed and inviting) with a beautiful bar, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and the added bonus of being on a walking path near a park and playground. It’s easy to settle in here for a slow morning.

The menu is full of creative twists, though not everything is a must order. The sticky buns are only worth it if you enjoy candied/sugar pecans, since the sweet pecan and tart cream cheese mix is what makes them stand out. The bread pudding French toast leans heavily on the fresh banana so just because you’re into banana bread doesn’t mean you’ll enjoy it, so it’s not for everyone. The blue cheese wedge salad paired nicely with salmon, though the crispness of the lettuce can vary. The traditional breakfast plate is skippable, as the menu has far more interesting options and there’s a lack of most flavors. Same goes for the green tomato BLT: fun, but the aioli and sauces dominate, so it depends whether you’re looking for a twist or that classic BLT balance. As for sides, skip the home fries and go for the French fries instead. Again, almost no flavor so I am not sure why it’s on most of the meals as a side.

Now for the real stars. The biscuits and gravy with the crispy chicken thigh was outstanding.. crunchy, crispy, and loaded with flavor and texture. Pair that with the seafood chowder appetizer, which had surprising depth and richness, and you’ve got two dishes that make the trip completely worthwhile.

Stella’s keeps me coming back because there’s always something new to try, and the highs are truly memorable. A solid choice for a weekend brunch, and one I’ll continue to revisit.

It was my first time coming here. The menu is limited, but I ordered the chicken and sweet potato waffles and really liked them — except for the breading on the chicken, it was a bit too greasy. The service was excellent! There were six of us, and our waiter was super friendly and patient. We spent about two hours talking and never felt any pressure to leave. I’d definitely come back.

We had an exceptional dining experience from beginning to end. Every dish was perfectly cooked and beautifully seasoned, with flavors that really stood out. The service was equally impressive, attentive, friendly, and perfectly timed without ever feeling intrusive. The atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dinner out.

Stella’s is a favorite of ours and they did not disappoint once again. We enjoyed the pecan-crusted trout and the halibut special, finishing off with the chocolate torte. So delicious!

Stella’s Southern Brasserie is one of my favorite spots in the area. The atmosphere is relaxed but still has a nice, polished feel to it, and the staff is always friendly and attentive.

The food is consistently excellent. I especially enjoy the seafood chowder—it’s rich, flavorful, and perfectly done every time. The shrimp and grits are another standout dish, with just the right balance of seasoning and texture.

Whether it’s brunch, dinner, or just stopping by for a drink, Stella’s always delivers a great experience. It’s a place I look forward to returning to again and again.

I had the biscuits and gravy and added the chicken. It was pretty good but probably wouldn’t get it again the next time I go. We shared the pork belly Brussels sprouts as an appetizer and they were delicious. I’d definitely recommend if that’s your speed. Also enjoyed the mimosa.

Went for Valentines the day before, had 8 PM reservations and kitchen was out of a popular dish, so BF had to get something else. Food was great, though. Pimento cheese dip was creamy, the entree portions were smaller than expected. i recieved shrimp and grits with maybe a 1/3-1/2 cup serving of grits with 6 shrimp, BF recieved 5-6 smaller pieces of lobster in his handful of carbonara. would come back if portion sizes increased, especially for the price paid. Server Geronimo was great, though. Did his job and seemed to be handling the rush well.

I’d been here before on New Year’s Eve and loved my meal. I was disappointed with my experience this time. I ordered the lemon ricotta tagliatelle and added on salmon. The menu description lists it as having arugula and it did not. There were way too many peas and they overtook the dish. The crispy pancetta is just one disc on top, it could have used more throughout to add much needed salt. I’m not usually one that salts my food at restaurants but this needed it. The salmon was cooked properly but needed some type of flavoring. For just my meal, no drinks, no dessert- it was $50. I had been living in Eastern Tennessee and a favorite restaurant there with higher end food, similar types of portions— a beautiful sockeye salmon with veggies and quinoa couscous was $28. This pasta, regardless of local ingredients, was not worth $50. Last time, I had the crab cake appetizer and a side of Mac and cheese. I was much more satisfied with that meal. Service was friendly and I was checked on often. I love the vibe and decor of this restaurant. I’d like to go again because I did really enjoy my first visit.
