This is a solid diner with solid good diner food. When I get a tuna sandwich on toast and fries I get a high quality tuna sandwich and fries. When I order the meatloaf I get comfort food deluxe with excellent tender juicy meatloaf good tasting mashed smothered in homemade gravy and steamed to perfection side veggies. There are few of these places left so go and enjoy! Nice folks too!

Stella’s Diner is a fantastic place for breakfast in the heart of Lakeview. I’ve been coming here for years, and I am never disappointed by the service or the food. I recently brought my out of town parents, and they too loved it. Parking can be tough in the area, but it’s worth it. I will always keep coming back!

Great, old school dinner that is BYOB with a large menu and very friendly staff.
This place has been here since the 1960s and I can see why, service was super quick, and our food was so cheap and very fresh. You have to get the French onion soup when you come, we also split the Santa Fe Wrap with fries and it was enough for two people.
We also brought a bottle of champagne and there is a $0 corkage fee, so feel free to bring your own drinks!
I want to come back and try their burgers and get a shake next time.
