A great restaurant! You’ll need reservations if you want to get in quickly. But if you have 1/2-1hr you can put your name down to eat at the bar and spend that time across the street at Stella’ Grocery with a nice bottle of wine. The food was great, it came out quickly and the service was top notch. Great for a first date or of you are celebrating a big anniversary or promotion. The restaurant is not huge, so you may be tucked in closer to others. We will definitely be back.

Stella’s is great for a Greek experience. Been many times, consistently good food and service. Off the beaten path in a neighborhood. Love the cheese philo, Greek salad, and the Stella on draft. Had a shrimp entree that was good, also love the chicken souvlaki. Lots of food, I recommend. Greek store across the street has take out version of food served in restaurant. The neighbors are lucky. Reservations suggested however there is a community table

Wow!! First time visiting last night and everything was amazing! Definitely worth the wait and sitting at the community table, which was a fun experience. The cocktails were yummy (tried the Cretan and Santorini) and I recommend both the lamb chop lollipops and the feta phyllo!!

The restaurant is loud, but not disruptive. We were served by Jon, who was very intentional and kind. The food was outstanding! The feta, the fresh veggies, and multiple options – all with generous portions! My date and I had a wonderful anniversary dinner.

Stella’s in Richmond was a fantastic experience! The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portion sizes that left us satisfied. We enjoyed the tender lamb with perfectly cooked potatoes and the pasta, which came loaded with flavorful meat. The ambiance was lovely, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend!

This is a Richmond classic and has been around forever, so we had to try it out. We made reservations two months ahead of time to be able to eat on a Saturday and everything went smoothly with it. Staff was welcoming and friendly and able to give good recommendations. We tried the Lamb Frites and the No.5 Pasta. The pasta literally can feed 4 people, the picture doesn’t capture the scale of this mountain. The spiced meat is heavily spiced with cloves (potentially a bit too much) but I appreciated the flavor overall and the baked feta was really good and helped the noodles become cheesy overall. The quantity for the price is great, however I wasn’t blown away by the taste. The lamb frites I found more enjoyable and found the potatoes perfectly crisp with nice extra flavor from the green onion.

This place is so good. We stop every time we go through Richmond. The lamb pops are the best! You can’t go wrong with drinks, food, or desserts! Get a reservation online, its easy to change if something happens.

One of the best restaurants in Richmond! Staff are always friendly and the food is amazing. Highly recommend the Shrimp Santorini and the meatballs (already forgot the name). The desserts are also very much worth it, so save room! You will have to make a reservation, but you’ll be glad you did.

What a gem! Stella’s is the real deal when it comes to Greek cuisine – authentic, cozy, and so welcoming you’ll feel like part of the family before you even sit down.
We were greeted with special house bread and super fresh olive oil that honestly deserved its own spotlight. I could’ve eaten a whole meal of just that. Service? Absolutely outstanding, friendly, fast, and full of those warm Mediterranean vibes.
Now onto the food: we ordered the chicken souvlaki, pasta, and octopus. All the dishes came out looking fantastic and the portions were huge, even the kids’ meals looked like they were feeding future Olympians.
Everything tasted great, but I have to admit, the octopus was a bit on the dry side. Maybe it got confused when I asked them to skip the red wine vinegar… totally my fault for giving it stage fright.
Still, overall a delicious meal and a lovely experience. Come hungry, leave full, and maybe don’t mess with the octopus’ dressing.
