Wonderful location in downtown Burlingame with both inside and outside dining. Wonderfully crafted cocktails and a very complete wine list. If you bring your own wine the corkage fee is $30. Dinner menu has many options that are all cooked to perfection. Pictured here is the branzino fish, salmon and risotto with scallops. The bread pudding dessert is a must have! Very friendly and courteous staff.

This is a relatively new location for Stella. They just moved here a few months ago. This expanded space is easily two or three times the size of the original location. They remodeled the space, and it’s absolutely gorgeous. It’s stunning, modern, and very comfortable. The bar is beautiful. Our food was absolutely amazing, and we were quickly seated. I find that the bartenders and the hosts are quite professional. The food is well prepared. What’s lacking is the servers. I think because this location is still new and so much larger than the previous location, they have not yet been able to get the number of servers they need, and they have inexperienced servers, which is understandable. I’m sure that we will come back here again. Actually, I’m certain of it.

The meat balls are really recommended. It is soft and easy to cut. The meat is cooked just right. This is our first time to try this restaurant, so we play it safe and order two pasta. Both are okay but not surprise us as the meat balls. We will plan to try a secondi in its menu next time.

Excellent. Lovely inside and outside. Excellent pasta and veggies. The restaurant gets a nice crowd and the service is good. Loved the gnocchi -we had it with the pesto sauce, the Alfredo sauce, and the walnut Gorgonzola sauce. Loved the Brussels sprouts, the mushrooms, and the spinach.

Came here for a birthday dinner and to check out the new location. The new restaurant is very well done. The table was adorned with a birthday note and confetti. Started with cocktails that did not disappoint coupled with garlic bread and the antipasti. For the mains we went with the lamb and the short rib. The lamb was cooked to perfection and the rib was savory and filling – perfect northern Italian comfort food. We finished off with the tiramisu (strongly recommended) and the bread pudding(very filling). The service was impeccable. We will be coming here far more often.

We sat outside and the service was excellent. We shared the meatballs and burrata for appetizers which were both great. Only issue was that the lasagna was a little cold when it was served. Wish it had more heat on it but the taste was there. Everyone enjoyed their meal, will definitely be back.

Service was great. Had the lasagna. Flavor was really good but it came out roughly 3 mins after ordering which meant it was under a heat lamp and not fresh. So good flavor but the noodles were a little spongy or dried out. Then order the creme brulee for dessert. Again, the flavor was good but it was runny which I believe means it was not chilled enough to set properly. Management was great about it. Would try again because the red sauce was really worth it.

Had dinner reservations for 5:30pm on a Friday night. I suggest making reservations — I did on a Wednesday and 5:30pm was all I could find (or 9:30pm). We were seated at a hallway-corner so I couldn’t really appreciate the restaurant’s ambience. Gnocchi was excellent though! Lamp chops were perfect. Can’t say that it was a mind-blowing experience, but would come back
