I’ve been here three times since they opened, twice for breakfast once for lunch. The food has been consistently good. They’ve been super busy every time I’ve been there so there has been a bit of a wait but it has been worth it. You cannot beat the prices and portions are very generous.
My Monte Cristo today was huge and delicious.
Two suggestions:
Put a sign up to indicate if we’re to seat ourselves or wait, and make sure every table has a server assigned to it.
Real mashed potatoes.

The service was excellent. The food, however, didn’t rise to the occasion. It took over an hour for the kitchen to prepare two sandwiches. When they arrived, the cheesesteak wrap didn’t have cheese in it. The Monte Cristo was slightly better. The highlight was the crab soup, but even that took the kitchen a long time to prepare. This is a new diner; definitely a work in progress.

This is a cute new diner in Gettysburg that has all of the standard diner fare, including some extras, like my favorite – fried oysters!! We ordered their mushroom swiss burger and a chicken quesadilla, both had good flavor and large portions.
The restaurant is clean and has friendly wait staff. We’ll definitely be back to try more food!

Food would have been very good if it would have been hot. Soup and meal were barely what I would call warm. Ask twice for a roll and was told it was coming but I never did receive it. I will go back and give them another try because the food was tasty.

Thus place is consistently good in every way! The dinner specials are perfect if your looking for that home cooked goodness! The beef tips over noodles was tender, flavorful in a tomato based stew form! Just tasty! salad included is a real bang for your buck! Lunch n dinner specials daily! Weather you would just like a no nonsense BLT and fries so reasonably priced for what you get, or a hungry man meatloaf dinner , or a fantastic burger, here’s your spot!
