Came here with my wife for dinner on Friday. A friend had referred us here and I was intrigued. Upon arriving you definitely are in a totally unique vibe unlike anything else in this area. Though I’ve never actually been to Europe, let alone Germany, I still felt a strong European vibe here, which was really cool. Being an authentic biergarten, it’s entirely outdoors, which we were more than ok with thanks to cooperative weather.

The service here is very good, not only are they nice but they’re honest with their recommendations. I got the Jagerschnitzel and my wife got the currywurst. Both were absolutely amazing! That sauce that gives the currywurst its name is incredible! And that jagerschnitzel? I seriously think its the best schnitzel I’ve ever had! Delightfully flavorful overall and perfectly cooked, with a to-die-for mushroom gravy And it’s huge!

And of course at an authentic German eatery you must get beer. I think mine was called Palsner. It was really good!

There is a limited menu, but the items really reminded me of the dishes my family would make. The atmosphere is outdoors and lovely. I appreciate you can bring your pups. It is a casual and laid back environment were you get to sit outside. What more can you ask for in a place!

Super dog friendly with a relaxed zen vibe and delicious food. Can definitely see myself being a regular at Steinpark Biergarten.
My family of four (two adults and two children) ordered a variety of food and shared it. Currywurst, burger, fries, hot dogs and draft poured beers were all on the table. Currywurst and the pork burger are the best. A hot dog is a hot dog. The pretzel was oily which was odd.
Biergarten was clean with a mix of cement and mulch underfoot. Bathrooms were really clean and pleasant. Handicap accessible throughout. In order for your dog to be welcomed, you must have it leashed which is reasonable.
Parking is plentiful and convenient.

As a dog owner I was excited to see how welcome my Pomeranian was at Biergarten. Immediately after sitting down a gentleman offered to bring Mochi a water dish and numerous little treats. Fellow dog owners please don’t ruin it! Be respectful and let’s enjoy taking our pups out for a bite.

Steinspark welcomes our furry family members! Our dogs sit home all week while we work. On the weekend I spoil my Princess by taking her to Steinspark. She loves their bratwurst & cucumber salad. I go crazy for their JagerSchnitzel and the Currywurst. They pour traditional German style beers in huge steins. The beer isn’t hoppy like American beer it’s more malty and sweet. I give Steinspark a 5 star rating for quality food and for allowing dogs to enjoy a piece of Germany!

Jäger schnitzel is simply the best thing in Kalamazoo.
I recommend getting it with those fried noodles on the side.

This is just the cutest place, it feels like it’s in the middle of the forest and all the fairy lights make you focus on the moment.

I think they close their kitchen around 20:00, but you can still hang around there. Their beer is great, they have beer from the keg, wines and everything.

The environment is amazing, but when we were there, there were no indoor sitting and it can get pretty chilly, and full of mosquitoes.

Also! They have board games, so you can bring your friends and have a good beer night.

Loved my time here! Enjoyed being able to get currywurst in Kalamazoo. They also allow dogs, have non-alcoholic beer, games and live music which is a plus!
