Lil spot with a lot of heat in the kitchen. Looked to be family owned which was something I could appreciate. I got the Chicago Italian beef with sweet peppers and the Cajun pasta with sausage.

Best Italian beef outside of Chicago. Very good menu. The Italian beef is top tier. Very good chicago dogs. Great outdoor seating. Service is awesome. If you want legitimate Chicago food this is the place. Giardenera is perfect. Cheese fries are worth it. Meatballs are also good. Everything on the menu is a winner. Gelato here is a great dessert.

I’m visiting Nipomo and dropped by Stefonos to try the Tri Tip sandwich and fries to go. I’m just being honest .I ordered large fries, they were hot but seemed like a small order. Regarding the tri-tip sandwich it was okay but I’d not recommend it. The young lady who greeted me and took my order was great. Very friendly, customer oriented, and very professional. Whatever she’s paid it’s not enough!

Legit Chicago-Italian style sandwich shop! Hearty and delicious, authentic style, they will fill your belly!
This place makes you feel like it’s just another day in downtown Chicago and you’re grabbing a bite at your favorite local shop down the block. The rolls are hearty with the right mix of a crispy crust along with a fluffy soft and thick interior. The meat portions are abundant and the fixin’s are juuuuust right.
They have so many dogs and sandos to choose from, I’m looking forward to trying a different one with each visit. Pastrami, beef, sausage, different hot dog styles and so much more.
The Owner was super nice and personable and the service was quick and tidy. The atmosphere is easy and low key, take it to go or enjoy some sunny fresh air outside at one of their tables.
They also have an assortment of goodies, from gelato to cannolis and more in between.

It gives me pleasure to review Stefono’s Sapori D’ Italia this evening. I give them 5 stars because of the way they treated my girlfriend and I tonight. This is our second time visiting but the first time we left with no hotdogs due to the fact that THEY STOP SERVING FOOD 30 MIN BEFORE CLOSING. I’m bolding that for new customers as I didn’t know that until my second trip tonight only because I asked. I guess they only serve dessert 30 min until close. This evening we showed up at 5:45Pm and they close at 6Pm. They told me they had stopped serving food but some times they have some left they would sell to late patrons. And they also sell some half off. Just so happened they had two jumbo dogs left and they sold them to us. Anyways I forgot to take pictures but we both got a Chicago style hot dog and it was fantastic. We had never had one but I can say it was worth the money. I also got a meatball sandwich, it was humongous and definitely worth the money. For the 3 items I paid less than $20. (We got one dog half off.) I left them a tip of 25% and still didn’t even break a twenty for dinner. I thanked them and I will be back. Big shout out to John for serving us happily this eve even though we we running late!!
