Chef Ellisse and the kitchen put together such a delicious Wine Wednesday deal; so much so that they sold out! 4-course meal paired with a glass of wine for $20 was such a steal too! I felt so proud as a Mixed Latina to experience this weeks Mexican cuisine inspired special each bite had mi amor and I melting into the flavors. Thank you to the owner Frank for hosting such an inspiring event, it was such a pleasure to join.

Customer service sucked! Food was good, but they don’t even greet you when you come in. Very dry stale older lady serving me. They have display cases but no prices on the food that they have in there, and $4 for a fountain drink? And then to top it off my wife was not even done with her food, and the waitress came and picked up our trays and didn’t even say a word. And from what I understand the owner is way too arrogant to admit that his staff needs Improvement.
Update: Frank, Thank You for taking the time to review and address customers concerns, yes I was there with Caroline ( my wife) It gives me hope that you are not what I ” undertand” about you, and that you are a concerned owner that makes an attempt to better the service to customers. My compliments to you for that, I beleive with that outlook you business will be better in the future, it will definitely be appreciated by future customers. I understand it is hard to make all customers happy, and yes there are difficult ones! Change starts at the top and it looks like you have a good start with this

Cute lil spot in a busy shopping center. It was pricy for me but the Tomato Brisque was delicious the Cubano yes please. I didn’t eat the cobb salad but I ordered their roasted carrots they would have been better if they were so hard to bite into. The ones just right they were great.

I was excited to try this place by a recommendation from a friend and drove quite a distance to get here. Strange vibe in this sandwich shop! My husband & I walked in and a worker at the counter made eye contact but she did not greet us. A simple “hello” or “welcome” would have been nice and goes a long way. Instead she just pointed to the area we needed to go to for orders. We got in line and the older woman at the counter taking our order was not friendly too. I’m starting to see a trend here and again, the lack of customer service continues. After ordering my sandwich, I asked if they have a drink menu because I wanted to know my options and she responded in a tone as if I should already know. The prices for the drinks were not available to the customer until we saw our receipt. Why wouldn’t you include this on your menu that is above your counter wall or the paper menu on the counter? Moving on, the food came to our table and looked and tasted great but unfortunately I will not be coming back due to the lack of customer service and enthusiasm for their customers. At the end, one of their workers came to take our trays from our table and did not speak or asked if we were finished. Instead, she just assumed we were finished and removed the trays from our table. Note, I had one more bite of sandwich left that I wanted to finish! I just had to laugh because this was such a bizarre experience from beginning to end! I continued to laugh throughout my day and shaking my head by the disbelief of what I went through at this sandwich shop!
Oh, btw, I read the reviews after this visit when I decided to post this review and it only confirmed that it wasn’t just me! I truly felt the need to warn those that care about customer service and the type of businesses they are supporting with their money. There are so many more options out there without this craziness! I love to support these small businesses but not at the cost of poor customer service! Sad that the workers are influenced by the owner’s attitude and business culture.

My husband and I had lunch here on a Saturday. It wasn’t too busy but consistent the whole time but not crowded. The restaurant is clean and the staff was helpful and friendly.
We ordered the Romeo (tritip panini), the Positano (turkey & red pesto panini), and a side of pesto pasta. We had to wait about 20 minutes for our food. The food felt very high quality and fresh. I was hoping for more flavor as it just felt like the sandwich could have used a sauce or something.
We could see why this restaurant gets very busy. It seems like a great spot for lunch during the workweek.

This is a small business where I always back when I’m craving a panini (usually once or twice a year) and I love that my panini alway taste the same, I went back yesterday and they have more tables outside. The cashier was so nice and when I arrive to the store to pick it up my food was ready…. Always order the same for the past 6 years: Burguinni with trip tip instead of the usually meat! Just perfect!

One of my favourite sandwich places in Orange County, and trust me, that’s saying a lot. Besides ham, these guys specialize in paninis, and literally nobody does them better. Most of their sandwiches pair perfectly with their homemade soups. The Bostonian is my go to sandwich, and I take that down with their fabulous tomato bisque. Sure it will knock a week off your life, but let’s be honest, you don’t want to be around for that last week anyway. These guys had another location in South County that recently closed, and I have no idea how that could have happened. Probably a bad lease, a bad location, or just poor marketing. These guys should have 10 locations by now. 100% recommend this place.
