Okay, listen. We ordered a medium meat lover’s pizza tonight and this is what we got. It has shrunk down to a small. Apparently. Cause when we called to express our astonishment at receiving such a small pizza we were told that the dough shrunk and it was definitely a medium at one point.
But here’s the thing: if a customer frequents your establishment, has gotten several medium pizzas before, and questions the size… doubling down is not the play.
There is a better way to have handled this type of complaint. We are in Hampton. It’s not like we couldn’t have come back to show the pizza or maybe even get another small to cover what felt lacking.
We were so excited to eat this pizza and watch the Blue Jays and have been avid supporters of the new owners but this was a very disappointing experience.

I’ve had dozens of pizzas from here growing up with my family between Enniskillen and Hampton. It was my childhood favourite to have with friends and to this day continues to drive the same quality and friendly small town atmosphere.
It’s always a pleasure to see the owner still going at it after all these years. I’m proud to be able to share this experience now with my own family.
Their dough recipe has a great texture and the ingredients always taste fresh. Their pizza based take on garlic bread is irresistible and I can never bring myself to place an order without one. If you like breaded wings, this is another area where they definitely will not let you down. I’d love to comment on their lasagna but sadly I’m already addicted to the above and ordering any more on top of that would simply be too much to handle.
Being a small business, it’s not uncommon for the information posted through Google to be inaccurate. I blindly trusted this during my last visit today and called in well after close. The owner who happened to be there still picked up and took my order without hesitation or mentioning this fact. I only found out while checking out what had happened and the owner played it off like it was no big deal.
It is hard to come by places like this nowadays. They are truly a hidden gem.

Beautiful “Mom and Pop shop”. The pizza is the best around. It does not even compare to your favourite chain. Very friendly. The specials are great too

My first order at Stefano’s a couple of weeks ago was the super special pizza and 4 pops for $19.99. I get there and pay by credit card. On the iPad display it shows a total of $25.00 with tax. I clicked next without it registering right away. How did 13% of $20 become $25?
Next: the screen displays 3 tip options, something you would expect at a restaurant.
The nerve of asking for not just a tip but insane tip amounts for literally handed me the box. At a restaurant the waitress takes my order, serves the apitizers, main course, desert, and drinks while also checking all is ok. All they dud was hand me my pickup order. I didn’t have my glasses so I couldn’t see if there was ano tip option. In any case, there shouldn’t have been anything other than a total. The other scam is that they charged 15% tip on the tax. My $19.99 pizza ended up $29.00.
Got home 3 min away, pizza was cold. It was paper thin as though they turned a medium into a large by thinning it out and it had little cheese.
Money is tight these days so this sort of practice isn’t acceptable.
You made a few extra bucks off my order but I’ll never go back again. Not a smart business owner.

We go for the pizza and stay for the friendly service. Made fresh right when you order. Great price for really great pizza. I came back to say that even when they are busy it is still pretty fast to get a great pizza.
