This Restaurant is across the street from the Hotel where I am currently staying for Work. I have had occasion to have eaten here several times over the last few weeks. The food has been very consistent, and well prepared. Menu holds true to the name, but has a reasonably varied selection. On our last visit Mel provided exceptional Service! She brings a Big Personality to work with her, and definitely “Steps Up” the dining experience here.

Heard great things about this restaurant. Went on a Sunday, so we expected it to be busy. Surprisingly, it wasn’t as packed as we thought it would be. Our waitress was so sweet and the food was delicious! Simplicity at its best, please do not expect 5 star quality and be kind to the workers.

Great stop on the way to the beach. Our waitress was wonderful and I loved how the inside was original. The steaks were great and the beer was cold. Do yourself a favor and get the chilli as your side because it was delicious.

My entire experience was horrible and not what it usually is. My ice water came in a dirty cup with strawberry pieces floating in it. The potato skins I ordered were covered in mounds of green onion and topped with RAW COLD BACON. No one at my tables fries were salted, the rice pilaf was extremely mushy, my ribs were cold and nearly needed a saw to cut the meat from the bone. Every plate that was brought to our table was cold.

Food is always great. Service is always wonderful. Consistently gone to this restaurant for many years and continue to love it. They have quality steak and the prices are so reasonable. Definitely a great place to grab a drink as well.

Read other reviews and decided to give it a shot. The onion rings and the dipping sauce are off the charts good. The steak was really good, enough seasoning the give a touch of flavor, not so seasoned you can’t taste the meat. The rest of the meal was as good. The strawberry lemonade has to be made in house and I could drink a gallon in no time. The only issue with the visit was the AC was way too cold, so we ended up taking our food to go. Despite that, I’d definitely come again if I’m in town.
