This was like going to a family reunion in the South where everyone brought a dish. We had the Sunday Buffet and we are so glad that we happened to stop by on a Sunday (as we would have hated missing this). There was a salad bar with all kind of salad toppings accompanied by some fantastic potato salad, and a broccoli salad dish. The main bar had all kinds of greens and veggies, mashed potatoes and gravy, Mac n cheese, Salisbury Steak, amazing fried chicken, great fried fish and few others. They cut your choice of meats right there (pork loin, ham and roast beef). We actually had the owner cut our meat as he told us the history of this place. He was very friendly, kind and down to earth. The dessert bar had a great peach cobbler and bread pudding. The ice cream machine was broken that day, but usually you also get ice cream. The decor inside was uniquely filled with cowboy and western trinkets and things. This restaurant was fully staffed and on the ball with everything. We were told that it has been in business for 50 years and can totally see why! You will definitely want to drop in if you are in town.

Well… where do I start? I called in a to-go order at the Mannford location, went in and there was no staff in sight. The (2) tables that had patrons were all needing drink refills. This was around 3, not a busy time.. the patrons were elderly so I scoped the restaurant for water pitchers (still no staff in sight) and refilled the waters for them. Walked all around , by the salad bar, peaked in the office window, NOONE. Finally after at least 15 minutes, a young girl emerged, I am assuming she was outside, still had her phone in hand. I advised her to take care of her patrons and she needs to periodocally check the front. As a former restaurant manager, I was appauled for the owner of this restaurant. As for the food- My husband liked his hamburger, I did not enjoy my selection, which was pot roast on toast and mashed potato’s, the meat tasted weird and the potatos still had hard ball of powder from the instant mix. Gave this place one more try (not a lot of choices here) We all got burgers all around and fries… noone enjoyed the burgers, no flavor, and fries were cold and soggy. I recommend management either hire or train better staff.

Amazing food in a quaint little town. The fried squash was my absolute favorite and you are doing yourself a disservice if you don’t order it. Service was amazing and dinner was great. Extremely hot when it came out. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area. Catfish, shrimp, and chicken fried steak were all good. Great prices as well for as much food as you get.

Prime Rib & NY Strip were perfectly cooked, juicy, full of flavor, not over seasoned, not too thick or too thin; just perfect. 1st time here to enjoy their buffet and it was an incredible experience for me and the family it was worth the drive . Definitely recommended and returning. Beef was so delicious it was hard to stop to take a picture!

They should post the cost of the buffet. We had no idea we would be paying $22 for a buffet that doesn’t have much on it. They said it includes the salad bar, still not much there for $22. They also charge a service fee on your ticket. We’ve been here twice now and we’re not impressed both times.

Our experience today was absolutely awful. They seated us at a table they had cleaned and it was soaking wet. We had to ask them to dry it off. The roast beef was so undercooked and tough that none of our party of 3 could eat it. The green beans were unsalted. The catfish was hard. They waited until we were almost finished to bring the bread. Drinks weren’t brought until 10 minutes after we started eating. No hushpuppies. The only things eatable were the cole slaw and broccoli salad. It was total unorganized chaos. Parking is a nightmare. Don’t waste your time or money. We will not be back.

Steer Inn is a great place to eat! They have a lunch buffet on Sundays until 2 and it is great! They have several meats and sides to choose from and a salad bar with some great items on it as well. You can also order directly off the menu which is great too. With every meal there is a dessert bar that has ice cream, cobblers and other items. They staff is always friendly. Overall you feel at home while you’re there.
