⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Recommendation!

We stopped in at Steer Inn for lunch today and it did not disappoint. I had the Reuben sandwich with onion rings, and it was absolutely delicious — perfectly grilled and full of flavor. My husband ordered a steak cooked to perfection, along with green beans and an extra side of fried okra. Everything was hot, fresh, and exactly what we were hoping for.

We’ll definitely be back.

Good place to grab old style home cooking. Hubs and I went Friday night for dinner. They had a steak buffet, but we decided to order off menu instead. Started off with the onion rings- amazing! Good flavor, the right amount of batter, really good. We both ordered chicken fried steak. He got a baked potato and fried squash, while I got the green beans and macaroni. It was okay. There was a lot of breading on the meat and the sides were nothing special. The meat was super tender. We ordered the hot fudge sundae cake for dessert. Oh fudge! First, it was huge. Easily a dessert for 4 people. The fudge was thick and gooey. Excellent dessert. Overall some things were great and some were average. I would definitely go back but wouldn’t get the chicken fried steak again.

The owners treat you like family. The food is freshly cooked ans you can tell they pour their heart and soul into it all. The free ice cream is a tasty treat after the delicious food. Where else can you get prime rib cut right off in front of you for less than $20 along with so many other hot and flavorful choices?
You can over look the small bathroom when you realize its really like grandma’s house – wait In line and come fill your tummy.

I’ve been a fan of Steer Inn since the 1970s. Growing up, the Cushing location was our family’s go to treat. As a kid, the Steer Inn Special (cheeseburger) and Hot Fudge Cake were my favorites. 50+ years later, and having moved to the Mannford store, I’m happy to say it has only gotten better. Stopped by with my wife and sister on Valentines, and had a top shelf casual restaurant experience. The girls had the buffet, which was huge, and looked amazing, which they confirmed. I had my regular…Steer Inn Special and Onion Rings. I had to graduate from from the Hot Fudge Cake…Dr’s orders. I did get to taste the extra dessert options from the buffet…holy cow…they were off the chart great. It was the best meal, and experience, I have had there. The wait staff and owners feel like family. Super attentive, professional, and polite. I can’t imagine a better overall experience. Mannford is lucky to have this amazing, family owned institution. Great food, service, and experience at a fair price…it doesn’t get any better than that. Thx Steer Inn!!

As some of you know, I am an associate in psychology and a licensed commissioned officer. Today, to a new and unique restaurant. I travel to share and bring a good experience to people as they travel. Here we have the Steer Inn Restaurant in Mannford, OK. A staple was found in the salad. When calling to speak with the manager at 4:11 pm on Sat, Nov 8, 2025, the female employee stated that “It fell into the salad when you opened the bag.” This is called shift-blaming. While speaking with the “owner” of this restaurant, he stated, “I can pay you for the salad only.” In the images below, you will see that these salads came with lids, and 1-3 staples are bent compared to the other two. Mind you, readers, on the bag you will also see that the lines folded for stapling are in two roles, not 3. I will be contacting an attorney on Monday. As always, be careful where you eat, and not everyone friendly can be trusted.

This place definitely deserves more stars. The food was great. Friendly and helpful employees and the place decor was very fun to view. Me and the husband made the trip to the salad bar for one of our sides and loved that they had other options with the lettuce and toppings. I tried the tabbouleh for the first time. Delicious. We all was very full by the end and didn’t get a desert.

Came here with my mom and my daughter for the first time got the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes and it looked really good. It just needed some more flavor salt and pepper or something. It was just missing something.. But the staff is very friendly and it Gives a very good home filled vibe. I would try it again 7.5/10

This was like going to a family reunion in the South where everyone brought a dish. We had the Sunday Buffet and we are so glad that we happened to stop by on a Sunday (as we would have hated missing this). There was a salad bar with all kind of salad toppings accompanied by some fantastic potato salad, and a broccoli salad dish. The main bar had all kinds of greens and veggies, mashed potatoes and gravy, Mac n cheese, Salisbury Steak, amazing fried chicken, great fried fish and few others. They cut your choice of meats right there (pork loin, ham and roast beef). We actually had the owner cut our meat as he told us the history of this place. He was very friendly, kind and down to earth. The dessert bar had a great peach cobbler and bread pudding. The ice cream machine was broken that day, but usually you also get ice cream. The decor inside was uniquely filled with cowboy and western trinkets and things. This restaurant was fully staffed and on the ball with everything. We were told that it has been in business for 50 years and can totally see why! You will definitely want to drop in if you are in town.

Food was great, atmosphere was laidback. We got two burger meals and the Bacon Cheese Fries as the appetizer. With the nice size portions we took home two togo containers.

Amazing food in a quaint little town. The fried squash was my absolute favorite and you are doing yourself a disservice if you don’t order it. Service was amazing and dinner was great. Extremely hot when it came out. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area. Catfish, shrimp, and chicken fried steak were all good. Great prices as well for as much food as you get.
