Love love love this place. First time here. Best cocktail of my life at this brewery! Their Gran Tarani was out of this world and you could smell the orange liquor before you tasted the chocolate. Was not expecting that they would have cocktails, let alone holiday cocktails because it’s a brewery. Fantastic friendly service and terrific food menu. Great beer selection. Love the cozy feel with the low tin ceilings and holiday lights in this brewery in Highland Park. Great menu selection (also I’m a vegetarian and they had many great options).

Great spot in downtown Ravinia—Steep Ravine Brewing Company really delivers. The vibe is relaxed but lively, with a great mix of music playing and plenty of TVs showing all the sports you could want. The bartender was super friendly and made the experience even better.

Tried the Food Truck Pilsner and Taco Fest Lager—both were solid, but the Food Truck Pilsner was the standout. It’s got more body than your typical pilsner without any of the bitterness. Honestly, I could drink a hundred of them.

Best brewery I’ve been to in the northern burbs so far. Definitely worth a visit.

Every town should have its local pub and Steep Ravine does not disappoint! One of the coziest bars in all of the North Shore, whether saddling up to the bar or bringing a group of a dozen neighbors or more. They have a long list of beers on tap and you can take a 4-pack from an even larger selection for when you leave. They have reasonably-sized menu of insanely good apps and meals that pair well with the beers. It’s also a great place to watch sports, from football matches from across the pond, or football playoffs from right here at home. They have outdoor seating on the back patio and right out front on Roger Williams. The owners are very friendly and the staff always make you feel at home. One of my favorite places on the North Shore.

A small, quaint spot! Loved the locals, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and great to talk to!

Got the red ale, Pilsner and quesabirria—as delicious as it gets! Especially the tacos and red ale.

Great brews and great food!

Stopped here after the botanical gardens. It is like a 6 minute drive from the gardens. And worth the trip for sure. The birria and mardi ramens were fantastic! Fried ramen was great too!

Can’t wait to go back!

We had an amazing time here for our Honeymoon!!! Darrik was so hospitable and knew a lot about the beers on tap. The other staff were also very friendly and gave suggestions on where to eat breakfast (local only was what we wanted.) We came back for other food suggestions and ended up eating here and boy was it delicious. The smash burger had tones of flavor and so did my wife’s wrap. This is definitely a stop again and if you like local this is the place. I did sample some beers and if you are a micro brew guy and like IPA, they don’t disappoint. They are an easy walk off the Metra also so if you want to sip and dip, great choice!

Great place! Friendly staff, awesome beer, food helpings were generous and don’t break the bank. I don’t give many 5s as a reviewer but they give micro breweries a good name. The small size makes it very cozy. Some day I’ll go when they have live music. My wife and I had fun away from the kids, they didn’t let us down.

This place along with bwb that I previously reviewed is a joint owned restaurant that’s serving up some of the most delicious food in the area ! The garlic parm wings were to die for some of the best I’ve had! The in house made guacamole and Pico! Wow we wanted to take some home with us! The chips that came with it fresh and crispy..my granddaughter had the smash burger and she was in sheer heaven as she took a bite of that juicy delectable burger with sautéed onions cheese pickles and ketchup on a so brioche bun that was so shiny it was almost to pretty to eat lol..I have the Carne asada burrito with the refried beans on the side omg! It was bite for bite the bomb I gave my compliments to the chef ‍ he truly deserved it! My grand daughter also had a root beer shake not a float but shake! It was soooo good ..I know because I sampled some lol these restaurants will definitely be visited again even with me living an hour away it’s worth drive! And for all the food we ordered the price point was even better lol
