I am a #steelersgirlforlife so imagine my surprise to learn this Italian-ish joint was “born in the ‘Burg; raised in the South” (on the backs of their Tees…I was ecstatic!!! We walked in hungry (we googled Italian places and voilà) and thr Steelers-Patriots game was on (Steelers won!) We had the Mediterranean Weggie and the Don. We also ordered zeppole for the table. The food was delicious, the decor was awesome and the atmosphere was a blast!! It’s definitely a new fave for whenever we visit the IoP!!!

The personality of the manager really made it for us, from the moment we walked in the door. He was extremely friendly outgoing and personable which is something so many places are missing these days !
The food was amazing as well. Personally I’m not a fan of pizza sauce so we opted for some different pizzas which turned out amazing. The garlic butter is to die for. We had to take some home. I’m not sure if the bread bites or the ultimate white pizza was my favorite. But the boys loved the original zeppoli which had raspberry. I personally didn’t like them but I’m not a fan of icing. We definitely will be back

Summer was our server and she was great! She was friendly, helpful and provided great service! We would come back for sure! The pizza was amazing and the atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable.

It was really good!! First time trying it and I had the BBQ wrap that was so good!! Also some mozzarella sticks and wings. My husband had the pizza and he said it was very good as well. I would definitely recommend !

A stop with a friend on that side of town for a quick lunch. Not the best service, surprising because there were only 5 people at 2 tables. The food was much better and we will continue the Carnes location is much better food & service.

This looks like a cool establishment and they had a decent draft selection but it ends there. We waited 30 mins on an appetizer to come out which ended up coming out at the same time as our food. One order was completely wrong which they did comp appropriately. However the two total dealbreakers were 1. The cook went into the restroom with my husband who witnessed him keep his gloves on, use the restroom, and walk out and right back into the kitchen without washing his hands or removing his gloves. And 2. As we walked out the cook was out front smoking a cigarette, playing on his personal cell phone while STILL wearing gloves. So I can only presume that he also wore the same gloves that he used the restroom with and smoked cigarettes with when he cooked my food which is enough to make me want to throw up. We will be sure to tell the rest of our conference group to stay far away.

We were looking for a good pizza place while in town and the people at our hotel told us about this place. We ended up getting sandwiches and lasagna but they were very good. Better than most Italian restaurants.
