Trendy spot in Phoenixville PA, with plenty of options.
The latte was outstanding, and the pastries are very fresh.
An abundant selection of foods.

Been coming here for a little while now, love every time i do. Food and drink always made well and correctly. Many morning and night food options. Housemade syrups and amazing baristas make everything quick and feel not sterile like cooperate coffee shops. New owners do a great job of keeping things active in shop, events in the evening and sometimes people in the morning playing guitar. That being said, i frequently come here to read and said events never feel overwhelming

It’s sad to say but this place has really gone downhill since the new owners took over. It used to be a cozy artsy coffee shop with a great atmosphere but some of the new renovations have really taken away from that vibe. Really disappointing to see beautiful murals painted by local artists be destroyed and replaced by black and bumble bee yellow walls. Also they took down a bunch of pictures of historic Phoenixville, old steelcity sign etc. Steelcity is one of the oldest places in town and its sad to see it move away from its roots. Also the food and drinks are not nearly as good as they used to be, the pastries are often stale. The only good thing really about this place is that the staff is overall very nice and helpful, but the owners energy is not very welcoming. Just disappointing that the overall energy, look, vibe, and quality have seemed to shifted so much

Steel City is a cool cafe/small restaurant that offers some good vegan options. They do live music at times and the overall vibe is cool. I’ve had some of their vegan options over the years and they’ve always been good. This visit I just had a blueberry scone that was pretty yummy!

i liked this coffeehouse, enjoyed the ambiance and my drink was really good. They have a specials menu with great flavors for their drinks. The only thing i didn’t like was that they didn’t have many outlets for wfh guests. I would definitely come back though !

My husband and I stopped in for a cup of coffee not realizing it was open mic The woman behind the counter made it very uncomfortable for me when I was talking to someone else about her son being a marine.
. We were talking very quietly and not interrupting anyone. I felt like the woman was being targeted because of her son being a marine. The first person up was very political. I didn’t feel like politics needed to be an issue at an open mic where people were exhibiting their talent. I felt like it was very clicky

This was such a fun and cute find! I was visiting the area this past weekend and the city actually blocks off a portion of the street and then it’s open container/carry within that section of the street. This fell within that so I ran it to try their beer! I loved it! They had 3 beers on draft. The vibe was an old-school coffee shop with a stage right in the middle. I will definitely be back! The employees were so friendly.

Came here to see the Amazing Anna Spackman-she was amazing! The food and beverages were amazing as well. I had a chickpea wrap with a kombucha and one of their wonderful lemon blueberry tarts. The owners are fantastic and I absolutely love how personal-able they are! Thank you for having this space!

I’ve worked in food service for 4+ years so I get that it’s hectic at times, but the barista flipped the screen for me to pay and walked away without saying anything…I was paying cash.

Service was also oddly slow. Again, I understand some moments are worse than others, but there was no sense of urgency from what I observed. I don’t know if people were new or inexperienced, but with 2-3 people on bar and a queue of maybe 5 drinks, there was no reason for such a wait.

The latte itself was terrible and not worth the money or the time. Tasted like water with a burnt, barely-there aftertaste, even with syrup.

I was very disappointed. Slow, inattentive service and burnt, flavorless coffee leaves very little to redeem the place…

Steel City Coffeehouse & Bar is the perfect mix of alcohol and caffeine. Their coffee selection when I went there in December was perfect just as it is now. I liked the staff, the comfort of the place, the fact that is has character by having local artists’ work on the walls to purchase, and so on. There are restrooms available. They also have open mic night and music on certain days. The coffee was delicious, and the pasties are to die for. If you’re visiting Phoenixville, you gotta come here!
