I love Steck’s Deli. My favorite sandwich here is the Turkey Sloppy Joe. They wrap it and pack it very well and it has a lot of flavor. I usually can only eat a 1/2 for lunch and the rest for dinner. The staff is friendly. It can be a little packed during the lunch rush and can be a bit chaotic inside at times but the sandwiches are worth it.

Just had a Turkey with provolone cheese sub. The sandwich with good . They use Boar’s Head meats which I like. The sandwich was pretty small to me by Deli standards. Not much meat or toppings. A pretty simple straight forward roll.
Store was clean and the counter people were okay. The sandwich itself was a bit pricing for what I got.

Wonderful little deli tucked into the Somerset Hills Shopping Center on Washington Valley Road. The ladies working there always have a smile on their faces and their Taylor ham & cheese sandwiches are a local staple. Prices reasonable. Can get very busy due to their popularity.

I have been a Steckie since the 1960s when it was run by the Steck family. The present owner started working there at age 18 and eventually bought the store. The food is great. I was in today and thoroughly enjoyed an italian and potato salad. Oh and Friday is mac n cheese day! Hope to see it survive another 50 years. Best to the staff, hard workers for sure.

I ordered two subs and the total came to $17 one second and the next I went to pay
the other guy came and said it’s $24 now and when I asked she just said $17 to which he replied in bad tone that ya she was wrong I mean is this the behavior you serve your customers.This is not the behavior we expect when we treat you with respect and this is what we get back in response. Never going there back and would not allow anyone I know even to visit them

My husband and I come here at least 3x a month for lunch. The sandwiches have perfect proportions, staff is always friendly and greets you with a smile. It’s a small deli so they get busy around lunch time. If you don’t want to stand in line, you can call in your order and it’ll be ready in about 10 min. They also give you chip pickles and some slaw. I think their prices are very reasonable with the quality and amount of food, will not leave you hungry.
