My husband and I arrived during a busy time but Phil and Eugene were doing great despite being so busy. The interior design gave a fun trendy vibe.
My husband ordered the Bulgogi Chow Mein and I ordered the Steamy Piggy Ramen. We also ordered BBQ Pork Baozi, one Piggy Taco (not pictured), and for dessert, Kawaii Buns. For drinks, I had the Passion Fruit Lemonade and my husband got the Thai tea.
Literally, all of it was delicious If I had glasses on, I would throw them like jordan_the_stallion8 from Instagram. Everything, for us, was perfectly seasoned. Both drinks were deliciously sweet. The bulgogi had savory flavor and the Baozi were steamed perfectly. The ramen was top notch as well.
I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for some good eats in San Diego.

The food was great! OZ and Tracey were especially friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and arrived hot and fast. The beef chow fun was my favorite but could use a little more meat. The Thai tea is really good too. **I will add that the music noise was good. Restaurants seem to play music very loud and it’s really hard to communicate with the people at the table and not an enjoyable experience. Thank you for not having the music loud and just in the background.

I ordered the Bao Flight as a part of their Happy Hour (3:00-6:00) — the three bao were as followed: Bulgogi, pork and chicken! Then I also ordered their “Kawaii buns,” which were these cute piggy-shaped buns filled with custard!
The bao flight as part of their Happy Hour was $15. The Kawaii buns were $9.
The staff was attentive and patient with me as I read the menu a few times to decide what I wanted.
The food was flavorful, and presented tremendously well. Highly recommend if you’re ever in San Diego!

My boyfriend and I loved our experience at Steamy Piggy! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Shout out to Ethan & Eugene who served us!!! The service was just as impressive—friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. Don’t forget to try the bao buns!

Ordered a Bulgogi bowl. It definitely was a good amount of food and great fusion flavor. Simple ingredients, but a great meal no less.
Extremely empty for a Wednesday lunch. Oz was helpful in letting me know that you could get a free drink for leaving a review.
Definitely will come back to try their other menu items.

Another location for the Steamy Piggy (1st is off Convoy) and it couldn’t be better! Easy access right off the 8 with a plus of an ample amount of easy to get into parking!
Our host and server, Ethan, was welcoming, polite, quick with drinks, good check ins and delivery of food with reasonably amount of time between starter to main dish and then refills and readily available for any questions.
The food was very amazing, easily noticeably made to order hot and fresh, the flavors were absolutely perfect and well balanced as they swirled around your taste buds -depending on which dish, sweet and savory or spicy, garlicky and salty, tangy.
We stared with the sautéed bok choy in garlic and butter, which was a very abundant starter (easily could feed 4); with was tender but not soggy with a powerful but not over powering fresh salted garlic.
I got the Bulgogi Chow Mein and it exceeded my hopes for the dish! The meat was in perfectly shaved medium thin slices tender yet crisp with the entire flavor being exactly on point, with that slight sweet but super savory beat that danced across your tongue and makes you want to keep on eating -again great portions, 2 adults can easily get full on it.
The hubby got the 3 tacos -bulgogi, chicken, & pork belly! After having the starter and some of the chow mein he started with the pork belly and loved it, texture and flavors were perfectly in line and cooked . We tasted the chicken and was nicely surprised at the sweet with the delayed spicy kick! If I wasn’t already too full I would’ve stollen and eat that one .
The decor is fun, light, and fresh as well; welcoming and comfortable. It looks like they’re still in the process of fully setting up this location, so more to come.
They were also excellent in timing, we were in and out in 35 minutes but it didn’t feel rush at all, felt like we were there for easily an hour or more. So a great lunch option for sure!

Absolutely magical !!! Everything in this establishment was immaculate, The food was on time and incredibly fresh and flavorful. Our server Ethan provided us the best customer service experience , I will definitely tell my family and friends about this location! As a Chef by trade customer service is by far what makes a successful and memorable eating experience.

Great service from Eugene and Phil and tasty Asian fusion dishes! We ordered the bao trio, bulgogi fries, and bulgogi roll. We enjoyed them all! Fun decor too!
