This is an incredible restaurant with incredible staff. The food was so amazing and great value The service was amazing. Not mention that we were there traveling for 2 days, the last night eating there I left my beanie in the restaurant, the girl Jenny(?) shipped it back to me didn’t even charge me for shipping fee. I used to work here 10 years ago. I loved it then and I love it now. Service is exceptional, food is amazing. We ordered the scallops probably the best thing on them menu. I’m a bit biased but they’re mashed potatoes are heavenly. If I didn’t live so far away I’d eat here for every occasion.

Tried this place a few years ago and had the chicken with veggies and rice, it was pretty good. Went here a few days ago to celebrate a birthday dinner and was disappointed.. I didn’t have a reservation and they were busy but were able to seat us (2), very thankful but we were left without a server for most our dinner.
We started off with parm scallops, absolutely delicious.
Bread and butter was bread and butter.
Next we ordered the rack of lamb with French onion soup and salad and a New York steak with a house salad.
Both of the salads weren’t fresh or gone through, they had multiple pieces of brown/black slimy patches. The lamb and veggies on both plates were bland and the steak was tough and had gristle all through out it. For two meals with water and an app was over $130. Expensive and low quality…a bit of a let down.

Great place to eat in McCall. My family and I have enjoyed it for years. There tenderloin toped with blue cheese is always a hit. The service is good and there staff is friendly. There are other steak houses in McCall but Steamers is my go to for a good steak. I recommend a reservation but they will do their best to accommodate if you walk in you may have to wait a little.

Staff was very understanding of our little one dripping a small plate on the ground (whoops!) and made us feel at home.

Of all the visits to McCall, we have not eaten here. The wait was half an hour for a party of 5 and 1 child. Feels more like a European eatery with course meals rather than timed meal placement. They did forget 1 entry order. However, the bison steak was delicious!!! Seafood all around for everyone else. Lamb, bison and fish had good flavor. After a two hour meal we all left satisfied.

Holy!!!!! What an amazing place The ambience is very relaxing and cozy. Staff was incredible! They were crazy busy (that is usually a good sign) and to make things more challenging they were understaffed because some of the servers had weekend plans. But….. that didn’t change the incredibly memorable dining experience. The menu selection was excellent and it had many items I wanted to try. We had 3 in our party and were very hungry. The apps we ordered were so so good. Everything was fresh and had explosive flavor, OMG on the scallops!!! I need to make these at home. All the food had excellent presentation and was perfectly cooked. I would highly recommend this place and please make a reservation, they are busy A+

I really wanted to like this place. I had heard great things about it and the menu looked fantastic, but overall this place was really disappointing.
Service was so-so. Our server was friendly enough but we were parched our entire meal despite asking a few times for drink refills.
Atmosphere was okay. It’s rustic, a bit outdated, and was very drafty. We were expecting something a little better kept up for the prices they were charging.
We ordered clam chowder, lemon caper chicken, and the trout and rack of lamb plate. Chowder was fine, neither tasty or terrible. Lemon caper chicken was rather one-note in flavor but also fine. My plate was the trout and lamb, and I have to say, the tastiest thing on the plate was the mashed potatoes. The trout was unremarkable, and the lamb was overcooked and tough.
Overall it wasn’t the worst meal in the world but it was aggressively mediocre and overpriced for the quality. I’m really disappointed because I had such high hopes for this place.

Nice atmosphere good food but the RAW lamb chops ruined it for me. Yes raw just as red as it came from butcher.
The shrimp cocktail, fresh bread and steamer clams were 5 star. The staff was great 4 star nevertheless, the raw lamb was a deal killer.
It was $110 for two of us with tip. For that price I expect my meat to be cook perfectly.
The home made blue cheese dressing tasted like straight mayonnaise.
Not the best experience I have had.
