The food was overall very delicious! Everything tasted very high quality however, my one criticism would be that each dish had a little bit too much of one quality- the soup noodle was a little bit too sour and takes getting used to, the other noodle was a bit dry, and the cucumbers were very refreshing but a bit too sweet for me. I would still highly recommend all of these dishes though !!

Went here after an event meet up, ate the braised beef brisket noodle soup. My friends ate dumplings. Was very good, and I took home leftovers!! I really enjoyed this restaurant and would recommend eating here to others!

Hot food bar with a few limited options. Had to ask what each dish was. I got a platter with rice and a scoop of 3 entrée. Of the 3 I like the spare ribs best. The apple soda in acan was delicious! Larger dining area on lower level.

As a big Chinese foodie, I adore this place!!! Originally started coming here for their noodle soups in 2020, which are exquisitely flavourful and very authentic. The beef noodle soup is my go-to, especially in the winter. They’ve also recently started serving more menu items, including clay pot dishes, and this minced pork and chive flowers with salted black beans, which is my new favorite. The ambience is really cozy and the interior is well decorated. Can’t believe this place isn’t more popular! One of my absolute favorite spots to satisfy my Chinese cravings in New Haven.

Stopped by for some dumplings and soup on a whim. Service was quick, there was no wait at all to dine in. We were really pleased with the braised beef soup, it was moderately spicy and had nice flavor, noodles had nice chew. The pork soup dumplings were excellent as were the beef dumplings. They were served super fresh straight in the bamboo steamer. This is quality, genuine Chinese food, it’s in a different league compared to the typical “general tso’s” type of Chinese food. We will definitely be going back to try more items from the menu.

It’s a cozy little place with friendly service and fantastic food. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is that there is no vegan protein offered (other than edamame). They couldn’t throw some tofu in the veggie dishes? But otherwise this is comfort food for the soul. Take a look at these bok choy and scallion dishes I had yesterday:

Very nice aesthetics. Great choices in food and teas. The sticky rice cakes with garlic and scallions were incredible. The dumplings were good, but not the best I’ve had. Would like to return and explore their menu more, which could change their score.

Highly recommend their beef noodle soup, shrimp shumai and steamed buns! I don’t particularly enjoy their vegetable noodle soup — it’s a bit bland. Ambiance is great (downstairs seating is nice) and service was quick!

I’ve only ordered from here twice but both times have been very delicious. I am especially obsessed with their Szechuan Style Cold Noodles and the steamed eggplant with mashed garlic. The spicy eggplant is also amazing. Very flavorful and perfect amount of spicy for all 3 dishes !! I enjoyed their cucumber salad as well. I don’t think they are anymore expensive than Americanized Chinese food. Looking forward to becoming a regular.

Got the brisket noodle soup and chili oil dumplings (not pictured) to go! I have no complains. Everything was flavorful and fresh tasting. I’m thinking about going back today to sit in and try more dumplings!
