This was my first time eating here and I really love the food. I had a brisket cheeseburger and sweet potato fries and it was delicious. I haven’t been to many barbecue places but I must say this one is one of the best. They have also won many trophies for their food as well. I highly recommend stopping by to order something if you are in this area.

Stopped by Steamboat BBQ and had a great experience. The smoked meats were tender and full of flavor, and you can really tell they take their time with the barbecue. The brisket was juicy, the ribs had a nice bark, and the sides complemented everything well. The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff was friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for solid barbecue, Steamboat BBQ is definitely worth checking out.”

I am not sure what happened here, but the foods are no longer great.
It was our number one recommended BBQ place around us for years but I just can’t feel the love in our last order.
Back ribs are under seasoned, and there is barely any smoke flavor.
I don’t see smoke ring around the brisket at all. We asked for more fat cut but you can see the fats are not rendered at all, and kind of dry.
The jumbo wings are just regular deep fried wings.
The only positive thing I can say is the sauces are still decent. A little sweeter than I remembered.
I hope this is just inconsistency lately and will improve later. I hate to see another BBQ place gone from our neighborhood!

Some of the best BBq I have had. Wings were smoked then flash fried for a nice crunchy skin. The sausage was outstanding. Beans were decked out. Even the dessert was delicious. Eating area dose the job but big party may be spread out.

The food was perfect. The wide array of sauces were ridiculously delicious. Only complaint I would have is I wish it was bigger. Only a few dine in seats so you’re better off just going for take out.

Hands-down my favorite bbq place in the west suburbs. Definitely recommend the burnt ends!! Top it off with the Apple-bourbon bbq sauce You will love it!

Been years since i’ve been to steamboat, decided to grab lunch. It was awful, the links were so dry I could barely eat them. I asked for moist brisket and it had no flavor and was also dry. I remember it being better. Service was good though. Ended up feeding the rest of the brisket to my dog.

You can’t go wrong here. I’ve gotten most everything on the menu but today went with the burnt ends sandwich and sweet potato fries. I was worried at first and thought they had over salted them but to my delight they were tossed in sugar which I loved. The lemonade is made with cane sugar to boot. Little details like this enhance the whole experience. I’m sure it would be much easier to stock some Coca-Cola product with high fructose corn syrup, but they obviously care greatly about their product and you can tell from the friendly wait staff to back kitchen staff. They take pride and I love supporting places like this.

I have been here several times, food is awesome! We are enjoying the brisket burnt end meal with Mac n cheese bites, and pit beans. Daughter has the pulled chicken sandwich, which after a try was found to be very moist and flavorful. Another has a full rack of ribs! Sauces are all very good. If you even remotely like bbq, you gotta give this place a try!
