Steam Panda is such a gem! They have a huge, varied menu and everything looked delicious. You order at the counter and they bring the food right out. It’s quick, fresh, and super reasonably priced. I don’t live in town, but I’ll absolutely be back anytime I’m in the area!

I had a solid experience here overall . The food was tasty and definitely filling, which I always appreciate . The sushi was decent — we went with the lunch special, so we didn’t try any of the specialty rolls this time . The dumplings were a highlight though, all the different kinds we ordered were really good . I also tried the bao, and while it tasted nice, I felt it would’ve been much better with more meat inside. Instead of being fully packed, it just had a small meatball in the center . Still, everything was enjoyable overall, and I’d come back again if I found myself in town.

Food is alright, but they have you pay and tip prior to service.
You then self-serve (seating, drinks, etc.) every aspect except for the fact that they bring the food to your table.
When it popped up recommending 15-30% tip prior to service, it put us on the spot, so we tipped at the base level, as we didn’t want an unsatisfactory tip to result in poor or late food.
In the end, it was either not enough of a tip or tipping didn’t matter.
Eel was pretty good, as was the fried mushroom roll. However, the two shrimp-based rolls had little to no crunch as the shrimp appeared to be pre-made.
Either way, food was edible. Not dramatically slow, and atmosphere was alright. Sriracha and soy sauce seem watered down, but passable.
Payment and service experience kinda spoils the experience though.

My first time here was today with some friends who love this place. I really enjoyed it. I ordered the juicy pork steamed bao(2 for $8), the avocado salad ($7), and the mango fruit tea with popping boba ($6). The popping boba are mango flavored, which is was nice with my drink. The food arrived quickly, and everything was very fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful. They have plenty of vegetarian options as well; about 1/3rd of the menu potentially.

We went in for a couple tuna rolls, salmon rolls, and egg rolls. The egg rolls were a little over cooked, but taste was good. Sushi rolls on the other hand were almost room temperature, fish was soft and had a slight film, and rice was definitely very warm. Brought this to the attention of lady who was I believe a manager. She said it was fresh and the fish was not warm, to check the temperatures of the cooler. I asked her to temp the fish in the sushi rolls and she refused claiming it was fine. I pressed my finger into a salmon roll and it was like minced salmon, which happens when it is warm for too long, or a bad cut of fish. We asked for a refund since we ate two pieces of roll, one bite from each of one plate and ate nothing else. She refused and threatened to call the cops, which I asked her to do. As someone who was a chef for and ran restaurants (steak and seafood primarily) for several years, the food quality was poor. Presentation was good, flavor bland and texture off. Did not matter to the Steam Panda staff, the refused even a partial refund, or to even to remake it, threatened to call police on me, and dared me to report her and the restaurant to Health Department. The last $50 they will get from us, and we have gone there several times a year since they opened and had a good experience, until now. Never again just because of the customer service. Also, about an hour after leaving, stomach became a little upset. Recommend passing this place up and going to Sumo or Iwa.

Food was tasty and filling. Sushi was decent. We ordered the lunch special so no specialty rolls. The dumplings (all kinds) were good. The bao would have been much better if there was more meat. There was just a small meatball in the center rather than being full of meat as we’ve had other places. Overall good and would return if we were back in town.

Nice spot and really friendly staff. I ordered the lunch special with pho and pork bao as well as chicken wings. Loved the chicken wings. Nice and crisp. Bao was okay. Filling was good. Pho didn’t have enough broth, flavor was okay.

Welcoming atmosphere, food To die for! If your a sushi and a poke bowl fan! You must try the poke-bowl no ! The rice is exquisite and flavors are amazing. Its right on Wenatchee Avenue easy access but parking is a pain! The owners are great friendly people who put the customers first before a gain. The building is a little old but it is as advertised. Their lunch specials hit the right spot!

In the past week, I have gone twice! The first time I forgot to take photos the food was too good.
The first visit I had the soup dumplings, pork and beef boa. I also had a milk black tea with boba. On my second visit I had the Pho, and another black milk tea with boba. It was all very delicious!

I have since been back and had to update some photos. Their sushi is AMAZING! I had the scorpion roll, and they arranged it to look like a scorpion .
If you like Sake, I would recommend the peach sake they have. It’s really good!
The staff is ALWAYS friendly and I enjoy talking with them.
It’s roughly $30 a person, but the food is so fresh and well worth it.

Amazing cuisine and excellent service. Always kind and quick! The teas are very good also! Scorpion roll was mouthwatering, poke bowl was perfectly prepared, pho and noodles soups were great, everything we tried had been tasty! Highly recommend, more people need to get out and into steam panda!
