Not sure if the price is where it needs to be at. Seared dumplings are not filled as much as I hoped for. Braised pork belly is very dry and tasteless. You mostly taste the fat. Soup dumplings are filled with oily/ fat broth that doesn’t even taste clean, and steamed dumplings had strong flour taste. Overall food is disappointing but drink was good.

They have some of the best boba tea I’ve had since leaving Korea. Their food was hot and delicious. We are visiting from out of town and we will definitely be returning!

We had such a good first experience here, everything was just wonderful. Coming here, I only wanted to get a boba but I also ended up ordering a Chicken Katsu rice bowl with fried rice and japanese curry. My friend got the veggie dumplings and we each got boba. I had the Roasted Oolong Milk Tea and she got the Strawberry Matcha with boba. We dined in and service was quick.
The chicken katsu was so delicious, breading and crisp was perfect. I had fried rice and the japanese curry was flavorful and good. My entree’s presentation was cute, I actually thought it seemed like a small portion size but I was deceived. The bowl ended up being pretty deep and I was given alot of rice. I had so much food leftover at the end of the night.
My Roasted Oolong Milk Tea was delightful. The Roasted Oolong flavor was nice and smooth. I was pleasantly surprised that I could customize sweetness (half sweet) and ice level (light ice) with the cashier. And of course I have to talk about the boba consistency. It was very chewy and I liked the taste of it. Boba consistency was well done. I would say it’s comparable to boba drinks I’ve had in California, and it’s definitely one of the best boba places in this area including Chattanooga. I also tried my friend’s Strawberry Matcha and it was really good. I really liked how foamy it was.
Overall, we loved everything we ordered. The boba drinks were amazing and I can’t wait to come back again. And also, the prices are so affordable and reasonable. I recommend everyone to try this place.

The food is amazing! Every time i visit, I try something different and I haven’t been disappointed yet. I love the seared beef boa and mango boba. The customer service is wonderful, the staff is always helpful, even when you’re indecisive. 10/10 I definitely recommend trying Stem Boys if you haven’t already.

This place is not your typical Chinese food/Dim Sum restaurant. A variety of steamed and seared dumplings are served, as well as some nice Noodle Soups.
Would be ten stars for flavor. Came on opening day and they are handling their business well and professionally. Great job staff!

Very clean, easy selection of good food and a nice atmosphere. Thank you! Seared pork and cabbage dumplings 10/10, Pork belly and rice 9/10 ( I would love the pork fried, they might be able too!) Juicy pork 8 or 9/10. 1st time here.

Its a great little dumpling place! We got the pan seared pork and cabbage dumplings, the pork seared bao, and the soup dumplings.
The seared bao was really good, nice skin, a little crunch and the filling was tasty. The pan seared dumplings were also delicious, but my only complaint is that it was extremely oily. The soup dumplings were underwhelming. Barely any broth and very mild in flavor.
We didn’t get to try the boba or soup but we will definitely visit again for some bao.

Brand
Pork belly tasted somewhat unseasoned with a gamey after taste but with a great texture. Bao is better steamed than seared and very juicy but the meat is less a filling and more a ball. Seared dumplings are pretty incredible though, definitely recommend.

I was looking forward to trying this restaurant; it’s definitely something different for this area. The location has easy access, was clean, and inviting. I guess it’s what you might call a casual dining experience; you place your order at the counter, pay, and place a table # were you seat so food can be brought to your table. They also clean up the table and dishes after you leave.
Portions are ample and service is quick and pleasant. I was disappointed in what few vegetarian dishes are offered. The vegetarian bao buns are filled mostly with shredded cabbage and a few peas (didn’t note any mushrooms or carrots); it was tasty enough, but nothing special. Would have been nice to have some shrimp dumplings, but the only offer shrimp with pork dumplings.
Probably a “one and done” for me.
