Great coffee and food! Enjoyed warm conversation with Ben (owner). It is clear he genuinely cares about people, putting thoughtfulness into the atmosphere and service experienced at Steam Anchor. Decor and amount of seating was perfect. Food and drinks came out quick. Recommend the Fireside coffee flavor and sausage breakfast wrap with white cheese and side of salsa! Great find on our way from Central Illinois to Chestnut for snowboarding! Check this place out for a warm stop off!

People here are super friendly! Always a great place to sit and talk. The coffee is pretty subpar if you like a cup of black coffee. The latte’s are or as well, but again, the base coffee beans they use lack a robust flavor.

Awesome Christian coffee shop. The food is delicious. I had the breakfast bowl and the flavor is amazing. Also had a black Bourbon pecan coffee which was simply stunning and exhilarating to the taste buds! I highly recommend you stop here.

Small, locally owned business. Delicious spot with great hot and cold sandwiches, coffee, energy drinks, and smoothies. The scones are delicious too! They also have a drive-thru as well.

Very nice place to stop Into. Very clean and friendly staff, with a pretty full dinning room of people all having good conversations it seemed.
But….I don’t wanna come off as negative but I don’t mind spending 14$ on lunch but the BLTCA sandwich is tiny and didn’t have much in it. The bread was awesome but the lack of toppings the only thing I tasted was cheese. Nice place but for price and portions not my kinda joint for lunch unfortunately.

I really enjoyed my coffee. the staff was very nice. The drink was well balanced. The only downside and this is silly minor is that they have such a large menu of meals and assorted drinks and coffees that the ordering area was very busy.A little bit of seperation somehow might give it more of a quaint coffee house feel but that’s really knitpicky overall great experience

My boyfriend and I have been coming to Steam Anchor for years, and it’s always held a special place in our hearts. Even though we moved away about a year ago, we were in town today and it reminded us exactly why we loved this place so much.
We brought in a bunch of old punch cards we had saved over the years, and Angel went above and beyond for us. She took the time to total everything up and treated us to two drinks. She was so kind and helpful, and honestly, just another reason why we’ve always appreciated the people at Steam!
