First off, this place is beautiful in a wonderful lodge sort of way! Was sad to see the menus are plastic, but the food was so great! My wife got the ribeye that was cooked to perfection! I had the prime rib that was so delicious and the horse radish was so wonderful. The tuna sushi was too die for! The white chocolate cheesecake with coffees was superb! The only negative is that at the end of the day, the felt booth we sat on was not cleaned and the carpet needed to be vacuumed as well. If the place was cleaner, and the fireplace was lit, we would have given this restaurant a completely wonderful and perfect review.

Received wrong item, ordered beef nachos, got pork nachos. Told waiter, ” well do you like it?” It was good but not what I ordered. My husband eat it. I ordered another item teriyaki chicken came with peppers, not listed on menu and to much sauce could not even taste coconut. Mentioned to waiter. ” ya i saw to much teriyaki when I picked up the order.” Really! Oh thanks for the $8 coupon but you should have taken something off the bill or try getting me what I ordered.

My wife and I are usually here about once a week. The food is pretty good, except the pizzas. They’re just so greasy/watery they soak the crust, avoid these, the rest of the menu is good. My fav is the honey crispy chicken sandwich. Service is great, we love Corey and the rest of the staff.

I have 3 main gripes:
1. It usually takes awhile to get seated and it’s usually not that busy.
2. Cocktails are not great unless you upcharge to non-well. They use basement level bottom shelf well liquor. lol If you upgrade, it’s very very very expensive for drinks. I love old fashions, but I stick to beer here. lol
3. I don’t like that they allow kids in the lounge area. I know it’s the booths just before the bar, but your just skirting the line. I don’t like it and it kills the atmosphere.

I have been wanting to try this place out and honestly I’m not disappointed

The food: I ordered the spaghetti and Kobe meat balls and it was amazing, (a bit too much sauce but still tasted good, just sauce and pasta ratio wasn’t the same) besides that it tasted amazing.

The bread that came with my pasta was good.

my gf had the teriyaki bowl, she loved it, I got to try some of it and the teriyaki tasted so good!

I got the sushi forgot what it’s called but it was bomb, very fresh and tasted good, just wish there was more of it

Definitely will come back!

Super consistent food and service every time we go! When it’s busy or we come in late the food is always top notch. Pro tip they have sneaky good sushi!! Love this place, especially in a state that is increasingly tough on small businesses this place cares about quality.

My wife and I really enjoy this place. We sat in the Bar area.Great atmosphere. Great staff. I loved the Fried buffalo chicken sandwich. My wife enjoyed the streak salad. It was a little light on steak for the price, but she enjoyed it. The vanilla lemon drops were tasty. I had a New York sour… not great. $15 Tasted more like a sangria. Over all a good experience for a date night

I really wanted to like this place but after eating here three times, it leaves much to be desired. Today I ordered a burger and it was incredibly dry and tough. It took almost an hour to get our food and it seemed there was only one waitress for the whole floor, so service took longer (not her fault, she was great). I will say that the yam fries are good and the atmosphere is nice. The food and wait times have been consistently subpar though.

I love Steakhouse 9. All of their offerings are delicious. The staff is beyond friendly. Management is so friendly. The atmosphere is peaceful, even in the bar. The screens are always on great entertainment and the bartenders are very well trained. My favorite is their Cowboy Sushi Roll. The steaks are phenomenal and seasoned to perfection.

We are staying at the VI Homestead location, so we thought we would give Steakhouse 9 Bistro a try. We had a wonderful meal with great views, super service, and wonderful food. We ordered a starter of salt and pepper pork riblets. We always get these when in Canada, but this is the first time we have seen them on a menu in the states. These were better than the Canadain salt and pepper ribs, and that is saying something.
My wife had the spring mix blacken chicken salad. The chicken may have been a bit over blackened and was pretty salty. The greens were fresh, and the dressing was very good. I had the French Dip, and it was amazing. Loaded with tender beef on a great roll. the star of the dish may have been the Aujus. It’s a little bit thick, not too salty, and very flavorful. The meal came with wonderful fries to top it off.
We will certainly come back, if for nothing else, because of the salt and pepper riblets.

A great place for a pre and/or post round meal. We had a quick lunch here before our round and were very well take care of by Hannah who provided quick, friendly and efficient service. Interior was open and spacious and very clean. The Kobe burgers were a good value, and ceasar salad pretty fresh and tasty. The salmon corn chowder recommended by Hannah was excellent!
After the round we came back for a well earned mug of beer. The Sinister beer was cold, crisp and just the ticket after a hot dusty round. The beef salad was very good, with the lettuce being fresh, and the steak done to medium rare and very tasty. The kobe meatball pasta was just ok though, with the meatballs being a little too salty and the pasta slightly overcooked. It did come with a big piece of tasty garlic bread though.
The patio is a great place to enjoy the sunset with Mount Baker in the background
