Best time to come is right when they open. Service was perfect, our hostess was on point and very attentive. Food was AMAZING. I personally recommend the Hawaiian bbq Chicken. This was amazing coming out and even better eating. Atmosphere was calm, we were the only ones in there at the time we went in, which was actually pretty nice! Definitely plan on going back! A+++

They have Daily specials. I elected to have a mushroom burger. The burger was cooked to perfection and had the right amount of mushroom sauce.. I still had to rinse off afterwards lol. I really loved their steak Fries.. no one else does them up quite like them.. So delicious. I’ know I’ll be coming here..again n again !! Thank you !! My tummy is so HAPPY !!!

I ordered a 12 oz. ribeye medium but it was a little more red center then I prefer but ok. The smashed redskin potatoes were great. And to finish out my meal was a yen, baked beans. Great atmosphere with a cheers style bar. Friendly staff. For desert which on Sunday is BOGO free I picked cheesecake. Very good too.

Absolutely was not worth the money. Unable to eat. New owners and new cooks apparently but that’s not an excuse to charge 30$ on a fat nasty steak. Dry Mac n cheese a gritty spoiled potatoes. Portion was completely small for the price to begin with and when waitress seen we were clearly unhappy with our meal and we barely touched a drop. She was so quick to walk away and was not attentive to Customer Service needs when you could clearly see we were unhappy.

Just outstanding! We were pleasantly surprised – so fresh and beautiful on the plate. We were a party of 4 and all ordered different meals and they were so pretty on the plate and tasted wonderful.
We will be back.

I was in Bad Axe for work the other day. I’ve never been there and had no idea where to eat, they had a menu at my hotel which prompted me to go.
I got Mahi Mahi, with a side of onion rings and mac n cheese, and crab stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. All very delicious. The bread they brought out was very good, with a soft pillowy texture, the butter was perfectly salty paired with the bread. The crab stuffed mushrooms were delicious. Staff was all very friendly.

We tried the Bad Axe Steakhouse tonight. It seemed promising, but we left without eating more than 10% of our steaks.
My wife had a delicious frozen Creamsicle drink that supposedly had alcohol in it but you couldn’t taste it. We are sure it was there but it was so delicious you couldn’t taste it. That is a very dangerous drink!
I had a Two Hearted beer, always yummy. But she never asked if I wanted another.
My wife ordered a 12oz. ribeye and I opted for the mighty porterhouse!
We both had baked potatoes, broccoli, and I paid extra for a house salad with ranch dressing. My salad came out immediately and was delicious.
She ordered her ribeye medium well and it came out bloody rare. My porterhouse was ordered medium which it was, but that cow was tougher than shoe leather, even on the filet side.
Both of our baked potatoes were hard, like they were cooked days ago and tossed in the microwave before being served.
At first, our server took our unfinished meals and brought us the check without offering any compensation or adjustment to the bill.
A quick discussion with the manager and she reduced it to 50%. Still overpaid but the drinks were good!
The decor was patriotic, and they had a phone booth with a Superman poster on it!

My mom ordered the prime rib which she enjoyed. I ordered the filet with sautéed onions and the first one that came out I couldn’t even get my knife through the meat it was so rough, and the onions tasted like salty mush. The waitress had a new one made without onions and the 2nd one came out just as rough as well as practically raw, I ordered Medium Rare. It smelt disgusting like it was rancid, seems like the cook microwaved it and just tossed it on the grill for marks and was peppered like crazy. So I ended up not eating a meal. The baked potatoes were cold and didn’t even melt the butter. You can’t call yourself a steakhouse if you don’t even know how to cook a steak.
