We did not have a good exoerience the first time we came to dinner. Granted the 3 of us went there about.7:30 which was probably too late, but they are open til 9 so the food should have been fresh. Instead it was dried out and looked like it had been sitting out for days. Dinner was not cheap. It was $18.95 plus tax and tip came to about $25. I wouldn’t have minded the price if I got to eat some good Cajun food and seafood. There was very little left to eat. The little pieces of fried fish were dried. When the waiter came over to ask us how it was, I told him everything was cold and dried out and there was no salad left. He said he would go back and tell them to make some more food. We weren’t the only ones in there and people kept coming in for the next hour trying to find something edible. They did restock the salad for us. The Caesar salad was good and the desserts were pretty good too. It was just that the shrimp was minuscule. There wasn’t even any crawfish. The mashed potatoes and corn were my comfort food. Since this is the first time I’ve been here, I got a card from the casino and that gave me a $2 off so that was positive. I think I’ll come come back for the Friday Saturday fish Buffet which is $24.99. Like I said price is not an issue but I would like to get an awesome dinner. I have been to so many Casino buffets before all around the country and even in Canada. I usually head for the casino buffet when I come into town because it’s usually great with lots of choices. I’m from Arizona which has fabulous casinos and food buffets at Talking Stick and Wild Horse Pass some of my favorites. I was looking forward to good Louisiana cooking but I didn’t get it here. The staff was attentive and tried to help but yes it was a disappointment. After I posted this negative review, I can see that the staff did reach out to me to see if they could make it better and that is a positive. Like I said I might give it one more try while I’m here in town for 10 days. Good news though, we returned to lunch a week later at 11 am when they FIRST opened and everything was great. The food was delicious, fresh and tasty. I guess thats the secret. Go when they first open. Great lunch!!

Gave two stars only because Husband’s steak was good. Ribs were AWFUL. Absolutely the toughest ever. Could not even cut through rib meat with knife or pull off with fork. Had to use husband’s sharper steak knife to remove any meat. It was obvious I did not like them because they were virtually uneaten on my plate. Server did ask if I wanted something else, but at that point it was just not worth it.

We love it here. No waiting, good service ,consistent food. Prime steaks and fried shrimp are what we order. The new smoked menu is creative. They have some new reasonable prices stuff like a loaded hot link hoagie. I like these sleeper spots so I don’t have to stand in line. Corn bread and honey butter.

It was free, because I signed up for the casinos reward card. The food was ok, lots of it, mostly fried food. Service was good, the place was clean…food quality not worth the cost of $30.00 I would of had to pay, if it had not been for the sign up thing, I would of been upset because of the cost. Not high quality food, but it was free and I was there to gamble anyway. Air conditioning was kinda not working well. I like to eat in comfort. I won a few hundred dollars at the casino…not a bad night.

Not worth 25 bucks. The best part was out very kind waitress. On the ball with our refills. Her name is Janet. None of the food is labeled and not very hot. The meat was way over cooked and not hot. The deserts need to be chilled. They were just blah…. Over all I would not go back. 🙁

Honestly I give them a 0 stars! Visited the buffet on Sunday night, March 10 around 6:30 pm for the All You Can Eat Crawfish for $28.95. (Non-card member). It was a waste of money! Crawfish were mushy! Ate two and didn’t take another bite. The fried “catfish” was spongy and tasted horrible. The only food on the bars that was decent was the salad and the desserts. Save your money…don’t go here!

Your lobsters and crabs are OVER cooked !!! We’re paying for the food that can’t and isn’t enjoyable to eat .. Lobsters is very Tough !!! The crabs shells is supposed to pop when you crack them ,not bounce back like rubber. Please don’t get us wrong for the criticism , We know you’ll have and can do Better. Why should people pay and then throw away food ?? Please bring back the crabs or know how long to cook Lobsters. Thank you. Just saying so people can come back ,or the buffet will lose customers. We can’t have that , can we . Try to be understanding , Please.
