We contacted the restaurant, made a reservation and pre-ordered the food. They were out of the a5 wagyu, salads and mozzarella sticks, which sucked .
So instead I ordered a mushroom soup, potato wedges and 2 (medium rare) Wagyu ribeye steaks and the smoked angus karubi.
The soup, wedges and rib eyes were great. The angus karubi smelled bad and was mushy, yuck! My partner let them know and they gave us complimentary bread and a replacement karubi. It tasted worlds apart from each other. It was great they replaced it but… I’ve never had to return food before, like, it was so bad smelling, it totally ruined my experience.
When we were leaving, my partner asked for the sauces to be included with our take out, but they didn’t include it at all, they didn’t even give me the leftover veggies….
Overall, servers were friendly and there is a small parking lot outside. But my total bill was over 7k, and with the negatives, it’s just not worth my time… won’t be going back again.
– The salad was disappointing, lacking in dressing and visually unappealing. The carrots could have been sliced more attractively, and using romaine lettuce instead of iceberg would have elevated the dish. Overall, the taste was subpar.
**Aglio Olio:**
– I’d rate the aglio olio a 1.5 out of 5. The pasta was drenched in chili oil and chili flakes, making it excessively spicy with little depth in flavor. It would be helpful if the menu included a description to set expectations for the dish.
**Steak:**
– The steak was a highlight; their smoked Angus was tender and melted in our mouths.
**Salmon:**
– the salmon was a 3 out 5 stars. It wasnt juicy enough. Would have been better if the skin was crispy.
**Service:**
– The service needs improvement. Dishes were served without the necessary serving spoons or forks, and the drinks were served late.

**Suggestions for Improvement:**
1. Enhance the presentation and seasoning of the salad, using romaine lettuce for better taste and texture.
2. Adjust the aglio olio to balance the flavors and add a menu description to guide customer expectations.
3. Ensure all necessary utensils are provided with each dish.
4. Improve timing and coordination in serving drinks.
These changes could greatly improve the overall dining experience.
Would i come back? No. 🙂
Their Google Maps location is not accurate but if you’re coming from Bulua just make a left turn going to Case de Canitoan then make a right. The place is the house with the red gate.
If you’re a meatlover, then this place is your paradise. They have a wide selection of steaks to ribs to briskets and other smoked meats. They also have a couple of pasta options if you’re looking for something lighter.
We ordered a smoked platter, kitayama striploin, and their shrimp aglio olio this time. The steak is on point, the smoked meats platter were all tender and melt-in-the-mouth, the pasta dish was flavorful and had the right amount of spice to give you a jolt of energy.
Overall 9/10. Will definitely come back.
It’s heavy on the meat, light on the veggies..but it is a steak house. The food is excellent quality but very pricey.
I saw a party with bottles of wine but was not offered a wine list. Sweet red wine ‘in can’ was on the menu…no thanks
Service was very good.
The aglio olio is a 1/5. It had no distinct taste and was noticeably lacking in seasoning and flavor.
