We were missing a salad and the condiments for baked potato. We also ordered two desserts, a chocolate cake ( it was good) and strawberry cheesecake, no strawberries and the cheesecake tasted sour. I could not eat it. I wish I had looked at their Google reviews before I ordered from Steak Out for our anniversary dinner.

I ordered the sirloin tips and they were fine. I ordered a bone waited an extra 20 mins for them to unthaw it and it was extremely over cooked. Ordered medium rare it’s closer to well done.

Two weeks in a row, we’ve gotten raw steak and rotten potatoes. We stopped even trying to order burgers, because they always had a pink center. We ask for “Very Well Done” for my wife, and this is the result.

I moved two yrs ago to where there is no steak out close by. I was so excited to order and pick up on my way home. The two staff I saw were very nice and there was no business other than myself. It was NO WHERE CLOSE to any other steak out I have had. I would have never guessed it was steak out if I had not ordered it myself. Very disappointed and wish I had read the reviews first. Cheeseburgers and tea was not good at all. Had I known the baked potato was going to be so small I would have cooked one at home and saved the extra money I spent. Sad.

The Decatur online ordering system doesn’t deserve a rating. Ordered a pickup and when arriving 35 minutes later the Decatur store was clueless about my online order. I wasn’t going to wait because of their online order failure. I double checked my order and it DID go to the Decatur store. I’m just glad I didn’t order a delivery or I would still be waiting on them.

I moved two years ago to a place that does not have a steakout nearby. Yesterday I decided to call in an order in Decatur AL and pick it up on my way home. I was so excited as I LOVE steakout. There were two workers in the store and they both were nice enough, no problem there. I ordered two cheeseburgers med well sub chips for loaded potato and two half cut teas. I got my order and loaded it up in the car. I took a drink of my tea and it was not good and thought I hope this isn’t going to be a bad order…got home opened the container with cheeseburger and potato. First of all the potato was really small. I wish I had know as I would have cooked one at home and saved the extra money. I fixed my cheeseburger with condiments, etc and took a bite and was sadly disappointed. It did not taste like Steakout at all. I wish I had read the reviews first but I didn’t and unfortunately I will not go back as it was not good.

I have left MULTIPLE bad reviews and keep attempting to order for some reason. But just now tried to order and the lady on the phone sounds 8 shots deep and has an attitude out of this world, I asked for a few modifications and when i went to verify those when they weren’t mentioned in her order read back confirmation she said well first off you didn’t ask for grilled onions(even though I 1000% did) and there was a few more issues with the order taker and with my order/her listening skills/her attitude but I’ve already wrote a book. I keep trying but this is my last attempt to order from here even though we love their chopped steak and steak tips. Can’t deal with the rudeness and incompetence. Missed out on an $80 order because of rude customer service.

Whomever answers the phone for Steakout obviously has no intention of taking an order. She places you on hold and leaves you on hold. If you hang up and try again, she repeats the process of ignoring your call. This is quite rude and only happens at Decatur Steakout.
A few minutes waiting is understandable, over 15 minutes is absurd. I don’t online order. I don’t want constant unwanted messages sent when all I wanted was a meal. Maybe this is why their service rating is less than 3 stars overall. If it were mybusiness’s, I would correct the problem, not make excuses for bad service.
