Update: got to my hotel and get my food out and there is no Spoon for the chili and no straws for the two shakes I bought. How does a restaurant that you’re getting something to go does not put a spoon in when you have chili or straws for shakes?
The rudest employee I have ever met at steak ‘n Shake. I placed a mobile order and I went to the drive-through and they told me that they cannot give Mobile orders that right that you have to come in. I try to explain the reason why I’m not able to come in at this time and they told me basically too bad. I asked for them to cancel the order and they said I had to do it on the app, however there is not anywhere on the app that you can cancel the order.
This evening was a special circumstance for myself, however, since the order was almost $30, and I was unable to cancel I went in to get it and all I could think about is my family members that I Have that is disabled, and it would be so much more for them to get out of their vehicles To get the orders and then it would be for them just to hand it through the drive-through window. Honestly, I don’t mind going in. I’m the person that will take Stairs Instead of elevators or Park in the back parking lot to walk up.

Spent over $50 and couldn’t get my food correct ugh! I freaking hate fast food service nowadays. Why would they give me a cup of cold cheese and fries when I ordered cheese fries. I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger meal and the cheese was not melted and the onions were raw. Clearly they don’t give a crap. Steak and Shake used to distinguish itself from other burger places by having table service with your meal served on real plates, with metal cutlery, and your drink in a glass. But now it’s just like any other fast food place, with kiosk ordering and pick up your food at the counter. On my last visit they were pretty busy and the place was a mess. Finding a clean-ish table was a challenge. The staff were friendly and the food was decent, but they experience, which is half the reason I ever go there, is now just like any other fast-food place. I understand the difficulties in having a full staff to provide table service, but they still need to maintain cleanliness standards and have clean tables available for dine-in customers.

You don’t get a single dipping sauce for free when you get chicken strips. It costs $16 with two dipping sauces for 4 chicken strips and chilli. Then I waited for like 10 minutes at the counter after they had this weird white stuff on my chicken. Also they didn’t even give me the two sauces.
Then they ask for a tip without even waiting on you. No more waiters or waitresses.

I normally don’t like fast food hamburgers, but this burger here was a boom 10 out of 10…. seasoning was on point, was hot like it should be, even the condiments one were crisp and good..so when I say juice was dripping it was a good thing..fries had the right amount of what ever they put on them.. so good.. Thanks for the great meal!

This was nice. I ordered a cheese steak burger and it was very good. The restaurant itself could use a person cleaning the lobby, but the food was very good. Hubby got a bacon double steak cheeseburger and a chocolate shake. Very good. His daughter got garlic steak burger and cheese fries. Very good.

I rolled through the drive through Friday on my way home and its been forever since I had steak and shake and when I say forever I do mean many years. To the the least that when we ordered the food seemed high to me but I dont mind paying a little more if its worth it and to say the least this burger and fries met and exceeded my expectations, the burger was cheesy and peppery the 2 things I absolutely love when it comes to burgers the fries were great the amount of food I got and the size of the soda made the price of everything ok. I will definitely be back again when I find the opportunity.

Went in for a small fry and a shake. Cost me 10 bucks. The place is beneath disgusting. The longest unbroken time period where I wasn’t being harassed by the flies that are unfortunate enough to live there was about 45 seconds. The bathrooms were repulsive. Despite the fact that there was myself and one other customer in the place the staff still spent their time loudly complaining that they aren’t paid enough, meanwhile the floors feel like your walking on glue traps and the table that I was sitting at was the cleanest in the place…after I wiped it myself with a napkin. Don’t waste your time, money, or health in this soon-to-be-closed cesspit.
