Steak ‘n shake really has gone down hill. Its really no wonder they are all closing. There is no customer service anymore. You have to order at a kiosk. You have to scan a ticket to get your self-serve beverage inside. No more bringing your order to the table. But they still ask for a tip on the kiosk when you order. Lol. Won’t be back. Very sad. Steak ‘n Shake used to be an experience.

I don’t know what happened to Steak & Shake. It use to be this great place with good service, now it’s so industrialized, you can’t even talk to an employee. The food has suffered significantly with excessive fees for sauces and bar coded soft drink dispensers and poor portions. Everything is expected to be done by the customer and then they have the audacity to ask for a tip. Honestly, just go to a Freddy’s. Is leaps and bounds better.

First time eating in for many years, and while the new style ordering kiosks were a bit futuristic for my taste, the employees were very helpful and extremely polite. Food at this location is always top notch, Frisco melt was perfectly toasted and the fries were made fresh. Had a Peanut butter shake which was also delicious. Great experience.

Got a medium and a super size fries… Exactly the same amount of fries. Got yelled at in Spanish when we asked about it. Before we left another woman complained about her milkshake being melted when they brought it to her and I honestly thought they were going to come to blows. Such a shame. Steak & Shake used to be such a treat. Freddies gets my business in the future.

Tonight 11//08 has been hands down the worse service I’ve ever had at this location. The young guy running the drive thru was unprofessional and completely incompetent! I order ahead on the app it said 8-121 min. I got there in 15 min to allow for the family order to be done. We then sat in the drive thru speaker for 10 min before the kid answered then another 20min to actually get our food. All of it was cold and the asked were melted! His excuse was the cheese had to warm up and he was in the bathroom. This is exactly what you don’t want as an employee or service and I would like someone in management to contact me.

Completely unprofessional and I will NEVER be back. 11/09 my husband picked up my online order for me through there drive thru. When he arrived home I realized they not only did not give him my drink, but made my order wrong. When I called and asked for a refund they said since I ordered through the Steak ‘n Shake app they can’t give me a refund. When I asked for the corporate number then to see if they could provide me a refund, the guy just huffed and said he’d write my number down and give it to a manager. The guy was completely rude and unprofessional I will never be back

The milkshakes were great as always. My chili was good. But the burgers were pretty much nonexistent.. My sons pickle was thicker than the patty!
Service was slow mid afternoon even though we were the only customers inside. I was kinda bummed to see that their is no wait staff anymore. You place your order & pay on a kiosk upon entering & they call your name to pick up your tray when it’s complete.
