Horrible..they have completely removed the human interaction from here..from the moment we walked in, ordered our food from a computer screen, paid for the order, got our own drinks, (had to scan in the bar code from our receipt in order for the soda fountian to operate), got our cheap, plastic eating utensils and salt and pepper and napkins, waited at the table for our order # to be called out (by an automated voice no less), went to the counter to pick up order that magically appeared on the counter,, went back to the table to eat the most unappealing food I’ve ever been served at a restaurant. Then cleared off our own table and threw what was left in the trash. During our entire time inside the restaurant, we did not have any, whatsoever, contact with an actual human being..and for the clincher, they expected a freakin tip..a tip , at the kiosk when we originally placed our order..so, if that’s the future at Steak n Shake, you have lost a life long (I’m 63 years old) customer..good luck.

Remember when Steak and Shake would have commercials talking about the difference between a restaurant and a workarant? They are now the workarant. Place your order on a computer which may or may not work. Wait until they call your name. Go get your own food. Clean up your own table when finished. Cheapskate didn’t even leave a tip!

Not only did I have an amazing experience at this store, but I was a drive thru customer! The team member on the head set was amazing, my food came out fast, it was so fire!!!!! Hot and delicious! I even got extra large fries for both orders for the $1.50 because your team member was so nice and friendly! I will definitely be back soon and often!!!

They must of for to give us our meal because several other people were called that had a higher order # after 20 minutes of waiting I finally went to find someone and they took my ticket back and then said they were very busy but my order was almost done, I went to sit down and they called me right away, the burger was cold and cheese was stiff, my Chile was not hot at all. Regular here, normally a great time. But sometimes when they are super busy an order can be messed up. Which is understandable when there’s a huge crowd. But they are always willing to fix it!!

Well they don’t serve you here you serve yourself also have to scan to fill your drink cup and also get your own tray after they call your name. As dine in restaurant they no longer use dishes cups plates utensils etc. I was stared at by a creepy employee at the condiment corner I was getting a plastic fork kept staring till I stared back. My husband went up to get seasoned salt and creepy employee smh at him like he did something wrong. I love steak n shake but the service at this one sucks.

No servers or hostess staff. Order food from kiosks and wait for number to be called. Have to pay for condiments. You can see in the pictures of my Frisco melt sandwich how small the burgers are. So I guess if you like bread and Frisco sauce for $10. This was by far the worst steak n shake experience we have ever had. If everything being self service is the way steak n shake is headed we will never be back. For almost $50 for 4 us to eat we could have went to an actual sit down restaurant and had a much better experience.
