Only vehicle in drive thru. Took 10 minutes before my order was taken. Another 5 minutes to take my payment. Another 15 minutes to get my food and another 5 minutes to get my shake. They had plenty of staff but zero work ethic. Sad because the Steak n Shake I remember would never be OK with the terrible service I experienced. It’s amazing that this location is still open

First time online order. Ordered for “pick up later”. Came about 8mins early and was told they haven’t received my order. No problem, I got gas & came back. Was told there was no Dr Pepper. Hmm, kinda a problem, but no biggie. Was told no chili and they assumed I wanted fries. Blah, now the problems are getting bigger bc wouldn’t you figure, If I already substituted my fries OUT of my order for another item, WOULD I EVEN WANT FRIES??? Food was par with other steaknshakes. Placed was empty & looked clean is about all i can say good about my experience; Instead of my chili, I got an overpriced $3.50 order of medium fries sitting on my counter getting stale.

We’ve been going here for a long time. The food has always been pretty solid for the most part (we always ask for well done fries as they can definitely be cold). One big miss is not having servers anymore. That was the atmosphere.

If you’re an old timer like me, it’s not the same Steak N Shake as it used to be many years past. It is now all automated. The service was quick after you input your order into a kiosk. There are several kiosks available in the dining room. The food came out quickly. There is also a drive-through.

If I could give zero stars I would . We purchased 3 meals tonight . Absolutely horrible. Burgers were crunchy and tasted old . It was like eating beef jerky. Fries cold . Sat at the drive through window over 10 minutes and no one talked to us . And we were the only customers there . We were handed our food with no thank you etc. like we were an annoyance. We checked the bag they forgot our fries so my husband went in. No one would help him at first and the cook was cussing about how his job was.. finally they asked if he needed help and were very rude. We tried calling the store 5 times to speak to a manager about how awful our food and service were and a guy answered and when my husband asked to speak to a manager he hung up on my husband. We tried calling back and got an answering machine. We left a message for a manager of franchise owner to call us! Still waiting on the call . Sad part is this is the first time we had such an awful experience. Something has definitely changed with staff or management.

Things have really changed at steak n shake. Gone are the servers that come to your table and take your order, refill your drink, and offer any assistance while trying to figure out the menu. Food was good just don’t like the changes. I guess they are having a had time to find people to come to work.

I understand the reason why they switched to having the kiosks for ordering, but I don’t like it. The food was great though. No complaints there. Plenty of seating. Plenty of parking. The drive thru actually moves at a decent pace so your not waiting in line forever. Stepping inside is truly eye opening as to what the world has forced companies to do. It’s a shame. But having the philosophy of “adapt or die” does work here, I just miss the old times I guess.

Great place for burgers, shakes, chili cheese fries, and chili Mac. I will never complain about their food. The prices are fair, for today’s market.

I still love your food but get your employees straight..
The employee that gave my my drink didnt put the lid on and left the cherry on top which on my order specifically asks for it off aswell as did not give me a shake straw so im stuck trying to suck a reeses shake with a normal straw since the employee walked immediately back behind the wall.

We had to wait almost an hour for food, just for it to be cold. If I have to wait that long, at least hand me hot food! Also, almost every time i’ve come here and added something to my food, they’ve forgotten to customize it.

We enjoy eating from this location. We really like the burgers. While we’ve had a few small things missed with our orders, but minor in the grand view of things. Food is always cooked well and done pretty quickly.

Typically get it to go and am not left waiting long. I personally love the western burger. The BBQ sauce and toppings are really good. The price-to-food is also pretty decent. I know some don’t like the change to kiosk system, but doesn’t bother me none.
