Stopped in for dinner as we drove through on our way north. We got in line to order only to find out that there were no cashier’s, you gave to type in your order at one of the kiosks. There were 4 in total, however, only two of the four were functioning. We started by entering my name and then placed an order for two double cheeseburgers with bacon meals (comes with a medium drink and medium fry). I requested that our receipt be printed, but I think the printer was out of paper because the printer made noise but nothing came out. We waited about 15 minutes for the order number to be shouted out, but since I didn’t have a number, I wasn’t 100% sure I remembered the right number. The order had my name on it, not sure why they didn’t shout out the name on the receipt. The food was hot, tasty and made to order. The drink station could use a wipe down, but other than that, the place was pretty clean.

We were traveling for the holiday and thought we’d stop for a milkshake as there are no SnS where we live. We were disappointed to find they no longer have shakes made from real fruit, but ordered from their current selection. My wife ordered the orange dreamsicle shake, which came with a popsicle shoved diwn into it. She said that was the only good thing about it. The shake was far too sweet and not very good. My daughter had over mint chip, which she liked, and I had the same with no oreos. I found the mint syrup over-powering and there were far too many mini-chocolate chips. I regret not going to the DQ next door as soon as they told me they no longer had real strawberries. At $5 apiece, I expect better.

We ate Here on our way home. My first thought were the parking lot is empty we would get our food quickly. My second is the building is dirty. The doors looks like they haven’t been cleaned all day/days. The third would be the employee cooking up front, talking in his personal cell phone while cooking. He handled his phone then resumed cooking after his call. No only did we see this first hand but also now know this kids whole life story. Very personal information we didn’t need to know. The seats, chairs, glass areas all have nasty oily fingerprints. The bathrooms are dirty. I would recommend having them cleaned and don’t forget about the floors. The vents are black and gunny with dirt. While eating I will say Connor is the only employee that acknowledged us, offered assistance and was sweeping the floors and cleaning counters off. I seen him interact with several customers as well. I am a boss myself I would definitely recommend Connor!! If you have time to lean, you have time to clean. Great job Connor! “I dont know him perosnally” There was a gentleman that came in, he looked like a regional. Seemed nice, talked to the staff, but I didn’t see him looking at all the things he should of when he did his walk through. First impressions mean everything. Get some degreaser and go to town!

The Floors are extremely sticky so much so that my sandal stuck to the floor and came off my foot, tables are not clean, all the tables had dirty dishes or sticky condiments residue on them, napkins weren’t even in a holder but a container on the counter next to a messy ketchup stand.
Tried to order a Butterfinger shake, they game me snickers, took over 10 min to get a remake, and even then they still gave me snickers (they did refund the shake).
Won’t be going back.

They make a better burger than McDonald’s and they are cheaper too. The staff at this particular location have top notch customer service and were very kind. I also got some free fries with my order. I’ll bet you can’t get a double bacon cheeseburger for $7 at most other fastfood burger restaurants. Steak n shake is superior to it’s competitors in pretty much every way and this location is no exception

I had to help the older adults in our group place their order on the screens at the counter as the process can be a little bit confusing. I wish that steak n shake had the option for wait staff like it used to!! I would happily tip them for taking our order and bringing out the food instead of doing it all myself, along with listening to someone constantly yelling out numbers when orders are ready. I haven’t visited Steak ‘n Shake for 4 years because COVID ruined it, IMO by removing staffing. This is only the 2nd time in 6 years that I’ve eaten at a Steak’n Shake due to the changes.
Today the vanilla milkshake was pretty runny and not thick like I remembered them to be. The burgers and fries were really good, same as it always has been. I do love that they fry their french fries in beef tallow now!
I was pretty disappointed they dont have fried eggs for my burger anymore. Dining area looked pretty plain as far as devor, but it was VERY clean! I only gave 3 stars for atmosphere because of how the men’s restroom looked. It looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in weeks!! Pictures do not do it justice!!

As you come in to this establishment you notice how clean it is, then you place your order, the wait wasn’t long, & then your number is called. I ordered a steak Burger, with fries, and a vanilla shake. The food was delicious the meat was nice & tender, the bun was soft & fresh. The staff get your order to you right away. Yes family friendly. As for the cost of the meal, it depends on what you order. We shall be back

Wow ! I came here and ordered 5 meals for me and my family. They asked me to pull forward to the stop sign because the food wasn’t ready. I stated I’m going to park on the side to be with my people and stretch my legs. She says with a louder stronger voice you will go to the stop sign. I said I’ll go to the parking spot because of well… freedom. Completely embarrassing and this turn from a family meal to a horrible experience for 5 people. I’ll never shop here again and you should be ashamed of the way you treat people.
