I haven’t been in since they made it all self-serve. Horrible. Service is completely nonexistent. Waited for almost 10 minutes for our pick up order with zero acknowledgement. When we were finally waited on, the shake was squished and dripping all over and food was ice cold.

Traveling from a part of the country with no Steak ‘n Shakes this was our first experience.
My husband HAD to stop, and we were so glad we did! The burgers & fries were so good, the chocolate Reese’s peanut butter & strawberry shakes were amazing! The prices were very reasonable. The restaurant is clean and well maintained and the staff we encountered were friendly & outgoing.

Stopped in today a little after they opened and had a big order for work. The staff working today were AMAZING. They were fast, efficient, friendly, made sure everything was correct, double checked the bags, offered to help me carry it to my car. I know with big orders a lot of places get annoyed but they were nothing but wonderful the entire time and the food was great.

Stopped in tonight, and I was amazed by the very welcoming staff and prompt service. The meal was very good, and quickly prepared. The manager even went out of her way to help my father make his order. Thank you! It is so refreshing to be greeted with a smile!

I unknowingly made a mistake on my order and skipped ordering a side with one of my meals. When I went up to the counter to notify them of my missing fries, they fulfilled my request and kindly informed me of the mistake on my end. They were super nice about correcting my order even though it was technically my mistake. We love coming here for the fact that they use tallow as well as it being a budget friendly option for a large family!

The food was probably a 6/10 but I had to wait 15 minutes in the drive thru to receive the food. It seems they eye shot staffed so I understand and the customer service was actually very kind. I would come back to this location. Although, I don’t think it’s as good as it used to be when I was a kid and eating in there was a treat.

We used to love to bring our little ones in here. They loved the paper hats, the service and the huge variety of shakes. We hadn’t been here in 4 yrs. The whole parking lot was empty. We walked into two ordering kiosks. With two workers…What? No customer in sight, but me and my husband. We ordered our meals, after finding our way around the touchscreen. The staff members said Unfortunately, ALL Steak ‘n Shakes are like this. We found the Tip Jar comical as we basically served ourselves. The food was delivered quickly and we never saw an employee after that. I got the 5 way Chili Mac, it was good. My husband got a triple burger and cheese fries. We really miss the interaction of servers. It just felt really distant, quiet and cold. The nostalgia of families gathering for dinner and a treat is now gone. We weren’t greeted or a simple thank you, have a great day or any well wish of anything as we left….. quietly. We can make our burgers and chili macs at home from now on. So sad to see establishments and food chains come to this.

We were seated right away and then our orders were taken right away. The wait on the food was longer than we expected. There was a large piece of fat on my sister’s chicken sandwich. We ordered the parmesan fries and they were pretty bland. We added the seasoning that sat on the table and that made it much better. My grilled chicken was great, and my mom said that her burger was amazing and that her coleslaw was wonderful. Portions were a good size, very affordable. Three meals under twenty dollars! Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Overall happy with our dinner. Thank you!
