Steak ’n Shake is hands down one of my favorite “fast food” burger places. The burgers are always solid, simple, and done right. What really puts it over the top for me are the fries—cooked in beef tallow, which actually makes them taste like fries again.
I also love that they’re moving away from seed oils and going back to more traditional cooking. It’s nice to see a company actually trying to make things better instead of cutting corners. Good food, great flavor, and they’re doing it the right way.

I went about a week ago and I found hair in my food which wasn’t the first time as it is seen above two different burgers but first time I’ve complained. I called immediately after I saw the hair they said they couldn’t give me a refund and they wouldn’t have a manager until Monday. The incident happened on Friday. When I went on Monday they refused to give me a refund and told me to contact corporate which I did they never contacted me back. The manager was very rude and disrespectful. He kept asking if I have problems with one of his employees. Which I have never spoken to anyone working there directly since I usually do online orders. Kept insisting I have issues with an employee so that must be why there is hair in my food. He didn’t deny the hair was in the food just kept making excuses. He kept saying I’m causing issues by complaining about the incident and asked me to leave the restaurant. I was never rude or disrespectful. There was multiple other customers that can confirm. Manger refused to help or apologize and walked away from me mumbling disrespectful things in Spanish not knowning I understand Spanish. Very horrible customer service and very disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend going here. My friends have experienced very similar issues with this location.

Went through the drive-through person taking my order couldn’t understand me very well forgot half of my order. I sat in the window waiting for him to look up again. He just sat on his phone and the girls checking out their hair and stuff in the mirror or whatever they were doing there fixing up one even wave to me and just walked by and then I had to pull back around and go to the speaker and let him know that he forgot my drink and my sauces that came with my meal and then he tried to charge me for it. He didn’t understand it. He was very polite about it, but I sat there 10 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge me and the girls just come on now.

I’d like to thank David for completely screwing up my order! I went through the drive through and got a 4 dollar meal and asked for buffalo sauce on the side at the menu. when i pulled up to the window to pay and get my food, i looked inside the bag and found a sauce called frisco sauce. i have no clue what type of sauce that is but, on my receipt, it clearly said i was charged for buffalo sauce but instead got that garbage tasting sauce. david, please do better

The experience is not as good when you order on a screen. It just seems less personal to me. We ate outside because there was so much smoke in the dining area from the grills.
The food was delicious. I will definitely go back to Steak and Shake, but I probably won’t visit this location again due to the smoke.
The staff were nice, but overall this location seems like it could use some attention.

I grew up going to steak n shake. The food hasn’t changed much. You have to order at the kiosk. If you b order a drink save your receipt. You need to scan it to get your drink. Different. Everything is almost the same as 20 years ago. My kids loved it! Getting the order was a little slow.

I think this establishment is staffed with people who don’t want to work. It’s a 24 hour establishment but they claim they are “unfortunately” closed at 9:30pm. There are people inside eating at tables and in booths yet the doors are locked. A third party food delivery carrier drove up to pick up an online order but was not granted access and had to drive off without his customers order. A couple walked up to the doors and all employees ignored them. As the couple peeked through the windows, one of the employees pulled down the shades. It seems as if they don’t want more people to come in or place orders for food. This establishment is poorly ran during the evening or is staffed with a manager who doesn’t want to perform their job accordingly. Online and even through their third party carrier still claims “open 24/7”.

Are you expected to tip for fast food service? No wait staff. It is a self service kiosk. The food- SALTY. Too salty to eat. Would I try again- maybe. I can eat salt at home with out tipping a kiosk.
