I went to the Steak and Shake on Willow Road in Glenview to try out the new beef Tallow fries. I was not disappointed!
The new Steak and Shake beef tallow fries were delicious, piping hot right from the fryer with just the right amount of salt and best of all they tasted like potatoes!
Even though I arrived a half hour before closing time, the staff was pleasant and I didn’t feel rushed at all.
The restaurant was clean and the price was not bad either I got the #1 combo with extra fries and a Coke and I tipped $2 and the whole thing was only $12!
It’s worth it to go try the new wagu beef Tallow fries at Steak and Shake!

This was our first time at this location and when we walked in the restaurant was extremely clean. Instead of ordering with a person or at the table they have kiosks to put in your order. That was different. But the food came out hot and delicious. The employees we did encounter were very nice and helpful. The shakes were amazing as always. Great family dinner spot.

If you like waiting a long time for your order to be filled, then this is the restaurant for you. It took the kitchen over 40 minutes to cook a burger and fries. I will definitely never order from here again.

It was OK. Though I can tell the burger they served me wasn’t cooked fresh as they didn’t toast the bread and put a cold slice of cheese. The burger was also cold and they didn’t put the toppings on it.Usually have a good experience at Steak ‘n Shake but this was the exception.

No more servers, at least at this location. Touchscreen to order, then pick up your food when it’s ready. I think the menu is only hamburgers, fries, chili and milkshakes. No salad or chicken sandwich. Still tastes good but the experience is missing something.

I grew up with S and S, but I hardly recognize it now. I understand it’s tough to get workers and run a low cost restaurant but it just too impersonal and the food lacks the attention and care. It shows by the lack customers.

I finally found my favorite thing on the menu. The foot long chili dog is awesome and pretty cheap too! Service was fast, but we did come outside of a common meal time. I would come back if I was in the area, I want to try some of their limited holiday themed shakes sometime.

I ordered a simple Frisco melt meal. My fries were burnt and rock hard. I was not given a total or a receipt. I asked for a receipt which took took about 5 minutes and it was the wrong receipt. I went inside to get my fries and was laughed at by the employees. Terrible experience, Terrible service, and overall incompetence
