They are no longer providing table service. No cashier, you order at a kiosk. The only staff is in the kitchen. Is this where we’re heading? It’s really sad to see. A once great franchise with customer service bordering on Chick-fil-A levels, now reduced to providing a cold, impersonal meal.

Took my family of four to eat, it’s been a while since we’ve gone to Steak ‘n Shake and was shocked they didn’t have waiters any longer. The order kiosks were pretty user friendly. We all got shakes and burger meals and were very satisfied. Burgers were delicious and service was very fast. It was nice to get such a good filling meal for all of us for an affordable price. This place is definitely one of our favorite burger spots.

No employee taking orders. Feel real bad if your someone that doesn’t know how to use a computer. You must enter order yourself. No one standing in from to help you order. They give food with an attitude. Employees were like depressed zombies. Understand it should be a older looking restruant but the decor and vibe was so off. Restrooms are disgusting. Wait there’s more…. the burger patties and super thin and burnt on edges. You ask for a triple but looks like your getting a single. Its the lettuce and tomato that makes the burger look big. I will say the shake was decent but way too much whip cream. She put a cherry on and by the time it got to table it rolled off. Fries are shoe string, I didn’t like. I will say onion rings were good because of beer battered. Time to reinvent the burger patty and definitely the decor in restruant! Also evaluate your employees mental health cause they look very miserable.
