We went on opening day and it was a quick and enjoyable experience. The service was absolutely personable and kind. They had forgotten to give us our chicken fingers the first go around and when we drove back to respectfully tell them, they immediately fixed it by having someone walk outside and hand us a fresh order including more fries. The cookies n cream milk shake was delicious!

I live down the street from this location and had high hopes.
The first night, I inadvertently stopped here on opening night. Everything was great — the food and ice cream were excellent, and the cheese sauce was the standout.
Unfortunately, every visit since then has been a disappointment.
The second time I came by, the lights were on and the drive-thru light was green. We waited at the speaker with no response, then pulled up to the window. There were people inside actively eating who looked directly at us, but no one acknowledged us, took our order, or even let us know whether they were open or closed. We sat there for several minutes being watched and eventually had to leave.
Tonight, I gave it another chance and ordered the exact same meal as the first visit. When I got home, the cheese sauce — which I paid extra for and was the best part of the meal — was missing entirely. On top of that, the burger had an excessive amount of raw onions, which had a very unpleasant smell.
It’s frustrating because the food can be good, but the service and consistency at this location are unacceptable. Sadly, this location has been a failure so far.

I lived near the Mills Civic location when it opened, total disaster. I really wanted to love this Waukee location as I now live out here. I too find the no welcome unfortunate, just a self serve kiosk requesting a tip. I didn’t mind them forgetting my order and getting it wrong so much as the greasy bun, not a good taste. Opening day was good but this 2nd time back I’m just not sure I can be a regular as I would prefer with the convenient location. Individual workers like Reuben are fantastic but the overall implementation is wanting.

We had high hopes for this place the first couple weeks. Since all the management and corporate left the locations quality seems to be tanking. We have been here multiple times since and each time has been progressively worse. On 2/26 came with. My family an ordered the chili Mac. Tasted it and was super bitter like it was bad. We had an extra side of it and it too was bitter. Spoke to the manager and got an oh well and went about her day.
I wish it was better I love the chili Mac but with the poor customer service and the possible food poisoning now.

Do yourself a favor and get the chocolate peanut butter shake! You won’t regret it! We went on a Wednesday @ 4:30 PM. Even though the drive through was BUSY, we got our food right away inside. Fries could have used more salt but otherwise the burgers were fantastic. Again get the ice cream; you don’t regret it! We will be back!

We went the day it opened. We were worried we probably should’ve waited a week or two before trying it. SO GLAD we didn’t wait! From day one they did amazingly. Took the order quickly, line moved pretty fast, food was exactly as ordered and sooo good! We did the #1 and #5 both were perfection. The burgers and fries were on point, perfectly seasoned but not too much.

I was looking forward to the new store to open. When I walked in there was no one greeting me just a kiosk ordered food at the end it asked for a tip, seriously what service am I tipping for. The food is good but I went for the service not just another fast food joint. You get more service at McDonald’s.

For older couples, the food ordering kiosks are hard to get through. We were 5 minutes trying to place our order. The food and service was excellent, except for my shake, I ordered it without whipcream and the cherry. I got both. Will go back
