Such a major disappointment! Was so excited to try this place after getting recommendations from YT and my brother. Stopped in and ordered a butterburger and fries. Ended up eating it in after ordering it to-go from the kiosk.
The burger looked pretty with pickles sliced lengthwise poking out. It tasted good but I couldn’t figure out why it was puffy in the middle as i didn’t get it with lettuce. Globs of white stuff came out of the burger, although I didn’t order it with mayo. It was a slather of butter… I think it was prepared incorrectly, as the butter was meant to go on the bun no the burger!
Weird vibes at this location, Open sign wasn’t lit and there weren’t any diners or cars driving thru 🙁

Steak ’n Shake was fantastic! The beef tallow days are so good—the flavor is next level and absolutely worth the hype. Everything tasted fresh, hot, and made just right.
On top of the great food, the staff was awesome: friendly, fast, and clearly working hard to keep things moving. Service was quick and smooth, which made the whole experience even better. Between the amazing food and excellent service, this was a great visit and I’ll definitely be back!

The food was good but the service was bad we walked in and the manager came and said no out side drinks and she had a attitude and the place was under maintenance the tables were dirty and the floor but the food was really good I asked for a To go container and the manager said oh my gosh

Went through the drive thru. Ordered single, fries, and a Coke. I believe this is the best hamburger I have ever eaten. Nice touch with the carmelized onions. Will definitely be back.

I ordered a single steak burger, beef wallow fries, and a cookie dough shake. Everything was delicious except for the shake. It would’ve taste better if the chocolate syrup was throughout the shake not just on top.

While out and about this weekend, we decided to go in as a family to Steak N Shake rather than our normal drive thru trip. We were not met with any greeting, just seen people in the back and kiosks for people to order on. My family placed our order, including two shakes, one having extra cherries. We waited for over 20 minutes for our food, and 12 for the shakes. People came out from the back, set my stuff down, stated my name and simply walked away. Both shakes were missing cherries, one needing extra there was no one to speak with because everyone was behind the walls. Two of our orders were supposed to have up sized fries, everyone simply were given the same amount.
The dining area was not clean. Most tables were sticky with soda rings left on them. Asking for a box for our leftovers took me over 4 minutes of waiting by a counter for someone to assist me.
No interaction with the humans, slow service and not even correct items. Even with the QR code for refills, I had issues with the soda machine, but again no staff to assist.
What happened to having staff? Anyone to even welcome you and see if you need any help? The customer service or even service that you are asking me to tip for at checkout on your kiosk screen.

I ordered 40 minutes before I needed my order . When I showed up to get it , was not ready . When I arrived the employee I asked about it was stand off ish and told me they had a lot to do and could not just cater to me . I understand ppl get busy but, rudeness is not needed. Great shakes but be ready for crappy attitude if you order ahead.

I loved steak in shake when it was in its prime but a lot of locations have closed down, especially around me. So when I found this one open, I was pretty excited. I probably haven’t been to one in six years.
I remember them for having cheap and pretty decent food. This time wasn’t any different. It was cheap and not bad at all. The fries were different from what I remembered along with their pickles. Their fries lacked any flavor at all, did not enjoy them that much. Their burger was good though. It lacked flavor but it wasn’t terrible.
I made the mistake of dining in at this location. It was horrendously filthy. The floors, seats, and all the the tables, all filthy. I could not find any clean tables to sit at. I would have enjoyed it more but it was just so bad.
The service was fast, though. Food came out in about 3 minutes.
