I wouldn’t risk eating here. This place has zero management. I was waiting for my order for a while before cancelling it due to these issues:
People were constantly coming in for order corrections from the drive thru.
The hygiene in here is terrible. Dude’s areplacing cooked burgers and cheese directly in the filthy prep surface. And can sit there for a while.
No gloves on the guy cooking and handling everything.

The food was okay, I ordered cheese fries and got barley any cheese on them, Also it took them 20 minutes to make 2 strawberrie shakes, by the time we got are shakes we were almost done with are food.
The service was terrible, they were really rude and had a attitude.
One customer sat there for 30 minutes before he finally asked if someone was going to help him, just for them to say you have to use the kiosk.
The place was nasty, the tables and chairs were filthy, wont ever come back to this location again.
I wish I would of read some of the reviews before coming here, I would of went somewhere else.
Stake & Shake needs to either get new staff or shut this place down as its a bad image for the company.

Update: this location still charged our card for food we didn’t receive. I spoke with 2 different managers 3 times, and after no reimbursement, we filed a dispute with the bank and a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. So disappointed with the management. We’ve been going to this location since it was built probably 20 years ago and won’t go back.
Not one single table was clean, the pop area and the bathroom were disgusting. The manager was beyond rude, and refused to assign anyone to wash a table so we had to request a refund before we got our food. Then the manager told us she called the cops for trespassing (she never told us to leave). She made my grandkids cry. I’ve never been treated that way in any restaurant ever. That manager needs to be fired and not work in customer service anywhere. I will not return to this location ever. I did fill out a complaint and hope they will call us, but seeing other reviews, it appears we might not get that call. We will also be calling the health department. The dining area should be closed if they can’t keep it clean.

I love Steak and Shake, but this location was not sharing the love with me.
Make sure you check your order carefully before you leave.
I got shorted the dipping sauce I paid for, and one of the double burgers only had a single patty.
Bathroom garage can was overflowed with trash all over the floor. See photos. Soap dispensers were empty.
Good thing: their Onion Rings are still actual rings of onions.
Bad thing: the delicious Ranch dressing you remember from when they used to have salads is no longer. Now the Ranch tastes like the stuff in the bottle at Walmart.
Not a good experience.

I came with my fiancé and we ordered food on the kiosk. I usually love Steak & Shake so I was excited when It was on our route to our vacation spot. The food came in a timely manner, but the shakes were wrong and the process with the drinks was mildly confusing with no guidance. The manager (I assume) handled that quickly and well, but it was a frustrating experience. I wasn’t going to leave a review, but then I went into the bathroom and it was disgusting. Also it’s notable that the kiosk asks for a tip right at the beginning which is ridiculous

We stopped tonight as we don’t have a steak and shake near our home. We went inside and ordered takeout on the kiosk. While we are waiting for our food the dining room fills up. We watched a worker walk out on his job which slowed them down.
They were doing their best. Our 2 shakes came out both with no cherry and one without extra whipped cream and after 20 minutes and we still waited another 15 before I finally went up and asked for our food. He asked for the order number and then said very rudely “he’s been calling this” at this time there was only 4 of us inside. He had called 1 name that sounded like ours and I went up, after that it was crickets.
We get outside, my burger was missing tomato and we were missing an entire 3 piece chicken. Very disappointed in their service tonight.

Extremely disappointed with our experience at this Steak ’n Shake location. The food was cold when it came out, and the burger buns were dry and cold as well — it honestly felt like it had been sitting for a while before being served.
The cleanliness was even more concerning. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting, and the dining area was not much better. I informed the staff that the women’s restroom was completely out of toilet paper, and nothing was done about it during our visit.
If the front of the restaurant looked like that, I can only imagine what the kitchen must look like. We will not be returning to this location. Very disappointing experience overall.

Team member behind the counter was sweeping with their gloves on picked u a knife off the floor and still continued to make food, tables was dirty, had to remind them for my daughters shake. Was not busy at all was the only good part. This place has truly gone down hill!
