I grabbed takeout from this Steak ’n Shake for lunch, and honestly, it was a great experience from start to finish. This location really delivered on everything you expect from Steak ’n Shake and then some. The food was excellent. The burgers were hot, fresh, and cooked exactly right, with that classic Steak ’n Shake flavor that never disappoints. The fries were crisp and seasoned well, not soggy or overcooked, and everything was packaged neatly for takeout, which makes a big difference.
Service was another highlight. Even though I ordered takeout, the staff was friendly, efficient, and on top of things. My order was taken quickly, prepared correctly, and ready without a long wait. Everyone I interacted with had a positive attitude and seemed genuinely focused on making sure customers were taken care of. That kind of service goes a long way, especially during a busy lunch rush.
The atmosphere was also solid. Even though I didn’t dine in, the restaurant looked clean, organized, and welcoming. Not what it used to be. No one greeted us, Kiosk only orders. No one to help with our order. The order process at the kiosk was slow and confusing. Before we even finished ordering it asked for a tip. While the place was clean it seemed like a dystopian restaurant from the future with little human interaction. The food was good but not the steak and shake from its past. I don’t understand why I need to scan my receipt to fill my self service soda.

Ordered in store through the app, for takeout, at 1:20 PM, ticket didn’t print until 1:23 PM, my name was called at 1:37-1:38 PM. The app claimed a 4-9 minute wait, 17-18 minutes wait on a Dbl with fry order is insane.

I’m going to start by stying I don’t like how there’s no human interaction. You order at tablet screens but the entrance. And then get your food at a pick up counter. In this instance, because I have kids, it took me a minute to get to the counter, and there’s was no soul in site. Might as well been a robot that served me. Sad. Otherwise store was clean and I love the style. Food was as I remember. Not sure if they still have Cajun fries or not but I could not figure out how to order them. If someone was there to ask I would know.

Stopped by Steak ’n Shake for lunch and had a really good experience overall. The burgers were cooked perfectly and the milkshake was thick and creamy, just what you’d expect from a classic diner-style fast food restaurant. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean and family-friendly.
It did take a little longer than expected to get our food, which is why I’m giving four stars instead of five, but everything tasted fresh and was worth the wait. I’d definitely come back again for another burger and shake combo!

The food is always great, and the staff is generally friendly. Drive thru is the aleay to go though. Inside is sad. Have to use kiosks, tokens for drinks, a d machine rarely works correctly. No server to bring your food. It is still yummy, just missing the fun authentic quality it used to have.

I honestly wish I could give them a zero on everything. I waited In line for 40 min waiting on two meals then waited another 15 min waiting on my food at the window, complete bs when they weren’t busy. Then I got attitude when I asked to read my food off to me, and again they got it wrong still. Corrected them at the window got home thought everything was right. Nope, how can someone be so incompetent and not understand what someone is saying to them when it comes to taking an order, it’s their job. I will not be returning.

The food was correct and fresh. I noticed our order was skipped at least once. I saw people come in after me get their food before me and i know their orders were similar to mine so not sure what was going on. Indifferent service since the order is entered from a kiosk so no requirement to be nice or to have any contact with customers. I still recommend this as a good spot for fresh burgers and other items. Food is consistently good.
