Imagine craving a garlic burger – with extra garlic because it’s just that good. Then this is what you get. A cold – crumbling to touch plain cheeseburger. It’s not even edible with how cold it is, after working in the food industry. it’s completely bewildering to have an idea of how long this mess up burger has been sitting in a sub par heat lamp.
McDonald’s has better standards than this place 80% of the time for when it comes to hot food. Absolutely ridiculous. No wonder multiple stores have closed – incompetent employees and management.

Never been before but I had to try beef tallow fries. The burger was tasty and the fries and onion rings were great too. I had a chocolate shake too, which I couldn’t finish. Too stuffed.

Steak ‘n Shake is not the same from when I was there last. Was reluctant to go, went, and regretted it completely. It’s been years since I last went because, lets face it, burgers are everywhere. The food was okay. But my girlfriend had me try her burger because it tasted funny, and to me it tasted like a dead mouse smells . Could have just been burnt I suppose. But anyway, every time I came here in the past it was booming. Not anymore and I can see why, young and socially awkward staff on a Saturday night, no waiters/waitresses, no greeting, kiosk only for ordering, and no cash. I would love to see this place turnaround for the better. Not a lot of cool retro dinners around.

The men’s bathroom was very dirty and the paper towel roll was sitting in the counter rather than in the dispenser. The digital order kiosk was out of receipt paper. They were out of grilled onions and lettuce. Everything seemed sticky. Customers were cleaning their own tables with napkins and water. The burgers and shakes tasted good though.

Didn’t have much interaction with employees other than getting my food at the counter from them. Burgers, fries, strawberry and mint chocolate shakes were good. You order at the kiosk which is convenient. For what you expect at this type of restaurant it should get a 4 out of 5 stars but, I’m giving it 2 stars because the toilets were in bad shape (in both men and womens restroom). Floor in men’s restroom was sticky especially by urinal. There were 2 customers when we arrived and at least 4-5 employees that I saw. Someone should be checking and cleaning their restrooms. Would normally had walked out without ordering but, we were in a rush and didn’t want to go anywhere else. Steak and Shake must do better.

Not a fan of this location. We stopped here for dinner tonight and after we ordered, we wished we hadn’t. The floors were disgusting and multiple tables sat dirty the entire time we were there. The staff was nice but they stood around talking the entire time when the restaurant was complete chaos. The bathrooms were so nasty that we wouldn’t even let our kids go in to wash their hands. Food was okay but we got 5 cups of cheese and they were all cold. It was very evident that the staff only does what they HAVE to do. 933 location is MUCH better- drive the extra 5 miles.

Steak ‘n Shake is a favorite of mine. They’ve made changes since my last visit. You place your order at a kiosk, there’s no cashier. I was a little confused because I was dining in, but the cook was so friendly and helped me out. The food was delicious! I’ve gotta make my way back there. I ordered a shake, but I knew I didn’t want to rush drinking it because I didn’t have much time. When, I requested it in a to-go cup, the other guy was very friendly about it. They even brought it to my table. I’m impressed by the service I received there. Overall, the place was clean and smelled nice. They were a little behind on wiping down tables, but I was able to find a suitable seat. I placed a carryout order before leaving, and it was prepared rather quickly. I’d recommend this place.

We had a very enjoyable visit. The staff was friendly and attentive. Food was delivered fast, hot, and good. The manager spoke to us. There is drive-thru and carryout. Seating indoors only. Restrooms available. Handicap parking, handicap accessible, and handicap seating. I would definitely recommend this Steak N Shake.
