This is my third experience at this Steak ‘n Shake. Once again it was an amazing experience and best part is you always feel you get good value.
I had a bacon bbq burger that was great with fries which are a must try.
My son had a grilled cheese and fries and the telling sign is he ate all both of them (he is a really light eater).
Overall this was a great experience but better yet it was a great value.

It’s not the Steak ‘N Shake from 5 (or 50) years ago, but it’s decent in a pinch as long as you’re not going in. They’ve stripped away what made them special. The taco salad. The baked beans. Soda fountain drinks in Coca Cola glasses? The REAL PLATES. Sigh.

Was in town for an event and decided to order a late supper on the app at 9:30. Showed up to pick it up and the place was locked up with no employees in site. Was completely lit up like it was open, no note on the door, and there was a trash can in the drive thru window. Was supposed to be open til 12am….. looks like the employees must have just walked out.

I have been visiting usa for many years and have always enjoyed steak n shake. After the covid shutdown many of these restaurants struggled and closed down permanently. I remember visiting a store on our travels to memphis and a couple of years ago and was so dissapointed, food was greasy shakes served in plastic cups and it put me off. My wife and I visited this restaurant today and it was fantastic, the food and shakes were lovely and fresh and the place including the toilets were very clean. I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant soon. Fantastic.

Friday evening visit not busy probably due to high school football game’s competition for customers. First location I’ve seen with ordering kiosks. They call your number when shakes vs food ready. Typical good food quality cooked to order. Jad double steak burger, onion rings, strawberry milkshake. The onion rings are my fave and goto burger reliable. Restroom needs cleaning and some aeration eek or pipe work. Service courteous.

The food is still good. Service depends on the day you are there I guess? My service was pretty solid this time around. I think this biggest disappointment is the kiosks. The guy took my order and that was great. The kiosk is killing your business!

I’m not sure why but my experience with steak n’ shake for a long time has sucked. Not just this location either. We waited about 5 mins at the door…my kids didn’t receive kids menus until my husband physically got up to get them. The server didn’t take our order until 15 minutes after we were seated. The food did come quickly after but the food was dry and burnt. I got the steak burger Frisco..barely any sauce. I couldn’t eat my burger because of how dry it was. We never got drink refills. We were there 25 minutes after our food. Our server tried not to make eye contact with us. We also had to get up for our own to-go boxes. Hate to say it but I’m done with this restaurant. I’m not sure what is going on with there restaurants, but no one wants to do there job nor do they look happy.

I’m going to forego the usual review and just say this… They get a 5 for extraordinary effort. We arrived for a late lunch and this Steak and Shake had just recieved an unannounced large group of a teen sports team with their adult guardians. Probably about 30. The manager jumped in with all hands and everyone performed their very best to accommodate the team and others. With their meal deals, my group of 4 ate for $20 and it was only a few minutes longer than usual. I applaud the management.

The fries were all i got but they were spectacularly fresh and delicious! The service was also great, the staff is very nice even when it’s late at night.
