I don’t usually leave reviews. Especially bad ones. But this store has done so poorly so regularly I have to say something. You can’t complain online or nothing happens. You can’t go in the store because they just say “oh you ordered in the app there’s nothing I can do” there’s hardly a competent soul in the building. My food is almost always cold and if I ever got an order with all my items I wouldn’t believe it! They take no responsibility for their mistakes and it’s just awful. Being one of my favorite chains and the closest one to my house I’m sad to say I won’t be back.

My new favorite fast food place in Indy. Food is super solid for really great prices. You get like actual meal size servings, not just some tiny burgers like other fast food places. And you don’t get price gouged like at shake shack. Shakes are delicious and honestly pretty big for only 5$!They’re served in a chilled glasses which adds to the experience. Atmosphere is fun 60s type diner vibes that is very enjoyable. Food came out really fast too.

Do not let the overall review discourage you from this location, as I believe there may have been a replacement of the management here! The current staff were extremely fast, the food was fresh, and the environment was clean, and very family friendly! The wife & I ordered a Single Steak Cheeseburger & The Garlic Double Cheeseburger combos for a little under $19 and it was absolutely worth it! Great job to the entire team and the manager who went above & beyond to ensure top notch customer service!

Went with my children. Had to ask for my cup and the drive thru person couldn’t properly explain why the soda fountain didn’t turn on. Turns out you have to scan a receipt separate from your original.
I’m tired of being treated as if I’m an idiot and a thief by businesses. The last time I went to a steak n shake the service was terrible and the water was unsoftened and unfiltered.
My family will never return to this or any other steak n shake. The food, service and cost for runny milkshakes and mediocre food served cafeteria style is not worth it.

Surprisingly quick service, but we did go on a Thursday.
You basically walk in and order everything you want on your own using a kiosk screen of sorts at the front counter.
Then they call your number to pickup your food at a table near the kitchen window.
Fountain drinks and condiments are self serve for the most part.
Menu is somewhat limited compared to what I’m used to, and I don’t believe they honor special deals advertised or coupons, but I could definitely be wrong.
All in all… the experience as a whole was less painful than originally expected, and that’s coming from a mom that went to dinner with “grandma” and my 3 kids (2, 5 & 8).

Today 10/27/18 I had a great experience at this location!! I think maybe the manager was working the window but even tho it took longer than usual to get my food .. it was worth the wait 🙂 My burger and fries were great and the gentleman who took my order was very kind!! I can tell he really cared about exceptional service and making people smile 🙂

None of the staff spoke any English. Tried to argue about cheese on a fry that was written on a ticket. Picture of kids meal shows 3 tenders, the photo shows what they sent and said the picture was incorrect. Won’t come back to this location anymore EVER.
