This location is by far one of the best stores in the area. Definitely worth the drive, it is always clean and well maintained. The food was steaming hot and the veggies were amazingly crisp. Even with a full dining room they had our order ready by the time we had our drinks filled. The manager Matt was very friendly talking with us as we placed our order. I was pleased with the food and they fixed a mistake that I made with order .

Me and my family were greeted by the manager right when we walked in and asked if we needed any help ordering. The staff working the grills and the other kitchen staff also asked multiple times if we had everything we needed during our meal. One of the best steak n shakes I have been to. The inside was clean and the manager was going over and above to make sure everyone there had a good dining experience. I dont usaully tip at kiosks but next time I definitely will due to the great job by all of the staff at this location.

The customer service lately has been very lackluster. Their holiday hours say they are open until 6PM – modified for the holidays. We arrived to pick up an online order at 5:30PM. They already had the restaurant locked and wouldn’t answer the phone or the door. They finally answered the phone on the third call over a 10 minute span to promptly say, “Steak ‘n Shake – we’re closed,” with a short attitude. There is no way to request a refund online or through the app. And the guy who answered the phone said the only way is to call back Friday morning. I get closing early for holidays or lack of business, etc. I don’t appreciate the poor customer service and communication. This isn’t the first time we’ve had an issue with employees’ attitudes at this location. I am extremely disappointed in the direction the service has gone over the last several months.

This steak and shake is the best steak and shake. I’ve found in a long time. It seems like they fell in love with seasoning salt. Just overpowering every sandwich for a long period of time, and now I don’t know. If it’s the beef tallow, or what but their burgers are on point and their fries actually have flavor now, I’ve actually been looking forward to going to steak and shake.
Instead of dreading, it just going for my kid that loves their fries. We actually don’t have one in Anderson, so when we go to home depot, we always stop here and get burgers. Now if you want a good steak and shake that actually cooks their food the right way?This one is the one too go to !!

This rainy day is proving to be a good CX day. I haven’t eaten at Steak n Shake it awhile but have been wanting to try the tallow fries . I used the drive through- it was quick, the lot was super clean – loved the Route 66 art vibe painted on the pavement. The drive through worker- also had a cool vibe, pleasant and professional. It’s the simple things that often get missed but are so appreciated when great people nail it!

Amazing place to eat. We are from out of town and not even chattanooga TN has everything on point, like this place. It’s also very clean. We’ve been to different ones and none compares to this place. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Steak and Shake menu is pretty much the same everywhere. What made this experience stellar was the great service. There are kiosks to place your order but the person ate the front was still very helpful with special orders. She came around to make sure the people eating were doing OK. Nice experience even for a self serve restaurant.
