Pulled into an empty parking lot and wondered if it was even open, and it was, but no one was there except the workers. Ordered our food, got it quick and it was alright. I love steak and shake food and the milkshakes are the best! The ketchup was empty and you would think everything would be stocked up and clean since it was so dead and slow for the workers but they chose to just spend their time chilling. No one greeted us or spoke to us, the only time they said anything was to call our names for the orders.

Bit more expensive than the traditional burger fast food places but well worth it. Burgers are great tallow fries are heaven. Had trouble useing he computer ordering but the guys came out to help us. The shakes are the real old fashioned.

Okay, let’s talk about how to kill an old established business. First, let’s install kiosks so that there is absolutely no interaction with the employees. This place was empty at the peak dinner hours between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. The place has a sterile hospital feel to it, and it was empty. We placed our order and waited for the food they called our number, and we picked up our stuff at a side counter. You seat yourself, and you serve yourself. This place has gone way down. The atmosphere sucks and again, it was completely empty. We were the only people in the restaurant at dinner hour. The food was fine. The fries got cold fast. When I was a kid, this restaurant chain was a fun place to go to a great atmosphere with very good service back then. Now it’s just a shell with zero atmosphere and not worth the drive.

Wow that was good. Had a craving for a burger. It was made right (a rare thing now it seems) and the tallow fires were great. You can really taste the difference. Simple and delicious. Can’t go wrong

Food was exactly what you expect from Steak and Shake, but the service was truly above and beyond. The manager on duty changed out the ice cream in the machine, remade my milkshake, and refunded the cost of the milkshake because my original shake had chips of ice in it. Mistakes happen everywhere but this steak and shake set itself apart by how they handled it.

Dine in is best, or take out. Avoid drive thru.

I love steak n shake, I have been going there for years. I remember when this one was packed after a movie back before covid. Now they are super slow and all of their workers are rude. A week ago I went through the drive through and they made my food wrong (my husband’s allergic to cucumbers and they put pickles on his burger). I pulled out of the drive through and went in, and ordered his burger again on the tablets. The only nice worker in there said he already made it, I said there was pickles on it and that I can just pay again (it was $3 it wasnt a big deal) and he said he would just remake it. So he makes it and hands it to this jerk to put it in the bag, and the guy he handed it to literally threw it at me!! It was after work so I just left but man if I ever go there again he’s going to hear it from me!
