We went to try the new fries,not bad but Steak N Shake has gone seriously downhill, order on a screen that asks for a tip, get drinks with a QR code that doesn’t work etc etc etc. We haven’t been in a while because of those reasons and definitely won’t be going back anytime soon. It’s really a shame because we used to love going here. Avoid at All Costs !!!!

I asked for mustard in addition to what they put on the burger. That is worthless!! The amount isn’t even altogether the size of a dime. Why am I spending twenty dollars for dinner when the fries are colder than ice cream in a freezer!!?

The restaurant was very clean and the service was fast. Jesse was very nice and helped me when the credit card machine froze and checked on myself and the other tables to see if anything else was needed. The food was delicious too. I wish they had breakfast back but the hotdog, shakes, fries and onion rings were still great at 10:30 am

Went there tonight and the guy taking the order at the drive-through must not hear what people are actually ordering. He got the whole order wrong. The The couple of things he did get right was the two shakes. The fries were cooked in old oil. There wasn’t enough seasoning at all on them. They were very bland. We ordered a Frisco burger, but he gave us a bacon cheese double combo instead he did give us the Frisco sauce on the side and the cheese sauce. My husband clearly said what combo number he wanted and he even said the burgers name as well and the guy still got it wrong. He didn’t actually finish our order. Another person came on. She was good. You could hear her she Made sure my kids shake was what I wanted. When we went to the window, he totally forgot our shakes. We had to ask for them and wait another minute and a half before we got them. I tried calling him to let them know that they got my order wrong and even though it is not busy, they can’t seem to pick up their phone.

Food tastes freshly made, as it should. I spent $7 for my meal. And better fast food than McDonald or most chained burger spots so 5 stars all around great. Wish they’d have better drink options; but that’s nationwide. Ordered a real sugar Coke A Cola

A young man named Travis helped these two old folks operate the order kiosk. He brought our food to our table and checked up on us. We watched him diligently and conscientiously do his job. It made our night to watch the younger generation doing such a good job!

Went through the drive through, ordered two plain hotdogs and a double bacon burger no ketchup, sat in the drive through for 10 mins and got our food but there was ketchup and mustard on the hotdogs and ketchup on the burger. So far had to spend another 10 mins waiting, this place has gone downhill since last time we went to this location.
Update, they gave me the completely wrong thing again, I just wanted the double bacon burger no ketchup with how it normally comes with pickles onion and cheese. That’s it. Instead I got a single patty no bacon and everything else that I didn’t even want. I didnt bother for try number 3 I was too hungry and tired after working all day. The workers were very polite though.

Best experience I’ve had at Steak ‘n Shake in years. The place is clean, people are friendly, we actually had two different employees so it everything met our expectations and asked if we needed anything else. The food was prepared well and was hot/cold as appropriate. This is the experience I’ve been wanting but never expected to actually get.

A double steak burger with fries was 4.99 no more than 2 months ago. Now it’s $6 without fries.
They cut staff, they use kiosks for ordering, they partner with rideshares for more market share… do they pay their workers more? Probably not.
