This Steak ‘n Shake location can be hit or miss. There are times where I am sitting in the drive thru for 20+ minutes, and other times, I’ll go inside and it’s completely empty. What’s consistent though is that the service is slow. If you go inside, you’re typically waiting a while before someone even approaches and asks you what you need. This is likely due to the minimal staff often working, which is understandable. Your best bet is to just place a mobile order. Food is decent and typical of other locations. I’m always disappointed in their shakes though. While still tasty, they do short you on the quantity. During the latest visit, my regular shake was equivalent to a small size.

We really had a good time the other day my mother and my two daughters got us some burgers and some chocolate shakes, everything was what we ordered and it was delicious and I usually don’t say that about diner or fast food type restaurants. But they don’t fit I to that mold and that is why I gave them five shiny stars! Thank you for your service Steak and Shake!

Haven’t been back in years and am glad I did! The place has been nicely remodeled and the concept has transitioned from table service to kiosk-based counter service… Love it! Makes it much quicker and easier for lunch. Food was phenomenal and pricing was a great value. Will be adding this place into my lunch rotation for sure!

This place has really cleaned up their act! They cook the food to go pretty much right in front of you, I even ordered my food once and the price came to $16+ but one of the cashier’s told me to buy the combo next time so it would cost less (around $12) so that was really nice of him i would recommend eating here its really good!

Destiny Is AWESOME!!! I was trying to find a different place for my granddaughter who is 2 years old and she is very picky so I decided to come to Steak and Shake. . I got two meals for her LOL. I received the steak burger kids meal and also the grilled cheese kids meal. She loves the milkshake the vanilla milkshake ♀️ ♀️ ♀️… I think I have a WINNER here.!!! THANK KELLIE!!! The staff is awesome and the food is terrific. I would recommend everyone to this location!!!

You have to order your own food which is very hard because five people working and nobody is actually working on my food they just left it sit there for four-and-a-half minutes why they messed around and back and talk it’s like that every time I go there food is good but it’s not even hot when you get they give you your milkshake first while you’re waiting on your food and you shouldn’t get that until your food is ready it’s just there a melt melts I accidentally spilled it cuz I’d waited so long and they didn’t even give me a new one offer to add whipped cream to it I do not suggest ever go in there I won’t go again I eat out everyday save yourself go to the one on University and Sarasota on cattlemen at least I got good people working there who try

The food was great, and so we’re all of the staff that came and checked on us during our meal. I will say that I miss the days when you had a server take your order and check on you. Now you order on a screen and pay, then sit down, and they will bring it out. Looks like they have switched their menu to fewer items than I remember. However, the selection was still pretty good.

Love this restaurant. So glad they opened the inside dining room back up. Not a fan of the self ordering but the staff at this restaurant has exceptional customer service especially for elderly. They will still take your order. Bring your food to the table and even fix your drinks

I literally watched a guy while standing at the counter open a bag of onion rings with his mouth, and pour it in a fryer. He took not just one bite to open it, but two. I brought this to the attention of the manager on shift and all she did was say “don’t do that”
