Stopped by Steak ‘n Shake for the first time today, and it was pretty solid for fast food. The food came out fast, hot, and delicious.
This location is an order-from-the-app or kiosk-only setup, which I’m usually not a huge fan of, but in this case it was actually pretty straightforward and easy to use. One thing to note: it does prompt you for a tip during the ordering process, but you can set it to zero. I’m personally not big on tipping at places where they don’t even take your order at the counter or serve your table, so I appreciated that flexibility.
I tried the single bacon steakburger, which was delicious. Their new beef tallow fries were excellent, true shoestring style, thin, crispy, and perfectly cooked.
All around, a great spot when you’re craving a quick, tasty burger and fries. I’ll definitely be back to try more.

Friendly staff. Good food. It actually looks and taste delicious. Plenty of parking. Their French fries where delicious, but very thin, like match sticks.

DO NOT GO!!! The guy bringing our food to the car was rude, we then got our food and my sandwich was soggy, looked like it was thrown together, was not cut and just looked awful! I go inside to show them and the same guy tells me that’s how it is. No offer to even fix the problem, I asked, “is this what you serve people?” He said “yeah!”. Not even an offer to cut it as the picture showed. I said this is my first experience and it’s awful and he and all the guys standing in the kitchen literally didn’t care! Honestly so disappointed that this is how people are treated and the food they expect us to pay for. I will not be back and will make sure I continue to tell everyone I meet what terrible food and service you get here. This is a terrible culture. I expected better.

do not order from here. the worst steak and shake i’ve ever had to deal with. not only did they not have my order ready when my delivery person got there, making him wait forever, but then when he asked them if they provided the shake inside the bag and they said yes, turns out they were lying, cause when I opened my bag even though a straw was on the outside there was no shake. i’m so irritated. it took them over an hour to finally have my order right and then they didn’t even provide the shake. so ridiculous.

I eat at this Steak and Shake 3+ times a week. Always going through the drive thru. The same young man has waited on me every single time. I’m not sure of his name. A younger black guy with short hair.
I hope this review reaches management because this young man deserves the recognition. Every visit he is the most courteous, kind, and respectful young man I’ve ever dealt with at a fast food restaurant. Not to mention his professionalism, he is great at his job! Like today, 01/22/26 7:05pm. It was extremely busy in the drive thru, when I got up to the window there were a few minor mistakes/misunderstanding with my order I made with the young lady (which I assume is a new) He stepped right in helping and showing her the issue. Calmly and professionally.
He’s always in a great mood and it is a pleasure to have him as my order taker.
You guys truly have a gem with this gentleman on the staff. He’s without a doubt management material from a customer’s standpoint.

Very dirty inside. The floors and booths are filthy. The drink machine is moldy. Half the drinks were out. Definitely won’t be coming back. Not sure what the point of going out to eat is when everything is automated by a kiosk. Not to mention the bullet holes in the glass… obviously there’s absolutely no upkeep at this location.

Top ‘Burgers’ made to order! This place has the smells of ‘ole school dinerery’ supplemented by its supportive staff! Adoptive atmosphere supports a feeling of ‘nostalgia’ reminiscent of the ’50’s era. Love ❤️ this place, and I for ‘surely’… will return!
